Best camping stove ever
I used one of these many times with the boys brigade camping in the mourne mountains as a child . They haven’t changed one bit and they never needed to . Works well in wind and rain . Very economical to run with meths. Just look after it and keep all the bits as they were originally packed

Trangia probably the best cooker in the world.
What can I say? This is My 3rd Trangia in over 40 years and non of them have ever let me down, I sold my first one in the late 80s because I was skint the second one I had the burner and fuel bottle seized by the New Zealand customs as i was flying back to the UK in 2003 because 'they' claimed there was detectable meths vapor still present in them???(Quite a big argument went on over that)and once back in UK uk I gave the remaining Trangia to a deserving friend before I headed to Borneo where I resided for nearly 20 years before returning to the UK where I bought myself a Kelly Cooker(fantastic bit of kit I can't fault it) which works fine and doesn't cost anything to run because you can burn just about anything that you find laying about But unfortunately it's not great in areas where you don't want to attract attention (town centre with billowing smoke when you decide to have brew) so here I am back to the good old Trangia with it's options of meths, bio fuel liquid/gel or blocks ,multi gas bottles with the right fitting/adapters... I'm pretty old now so this will probably be My last Trangia as it will definitely outlast me.

Reliable and well constructed.
Quality product you can feel with this item .I bought this to cook or just boil water for a coffee in any weather. Recently tried it on a hike with strong wind and it performed perfectly and efficiently as if there was no wind at all . This item gives you the confidence to rely on it .

Ideal outdoor cooking
Great item and perfect for out doors cooking. We had a cheap one previously which seemed to take ages to boil a kettle. This one is so much quicker and wind is not an issue due to the design.

Unbelieveable little cooker
Bought this cookset about two weeks ago now and gave it a go last weekend. Thought I would give it a quick review. Good points: A incredibly solidly built bit of kit. Very good heat distribution in pans. Good size pots, pans & kettle. Packs away small. Light (1kg total). Uses un-pressurized fuel. Cooking ability in wind. Bad Points: Fuel consumption a little higher than expected. This cooker is unbelieveably simple and elegant in its design. Quick to set-up and pack away. The burner is cool enough to touch 5 mins after putting it out. Boils 0.9 ltr of water in about 12 mins using about 20-30ml of fuel using the kettle. Trangia say 500ml of meths is enough for 1 week cooking for 1 person (very approx). I used 350ml in one day & night for one person! I did a bacon butty for lunch, super noodle snack, risotto for dinner and another bacon butty for breakfast. Saying this though I did also boil about 7 ltrs of water as well for copius cups of tea/washing up. Used the simmer ring on the risotto, works well, no sticking of ther rice! In my opinion, this thing is the DON of outdoor cooking, I love this cooker, it will be coming with me on every trip from now on, be it 1 day or 1 month!

Brilliant: Highly Recommended.
Amazing piece of kit. Love the compact nature and ease of use. Highly recommended for those who love to cook outdoors camping or on picnic / day out. Also for use in an emergency when all power goes down, so does our gas... This will get a lot of use. I'll update when we've been on a trip and tried it out a few times...

This is a must have you will not regret it.
Ok so I’ve been winter camping for lots 30 something years and anyone will know the trouble with cold gas bottles (pointless) so after lots of research I went with the trangia 25 now have officially given a good testing this weekend wind/snow/sleat and rain and -5°now this is unbelievabley outstanding it only took approximately 15 minutes to boil a 3 litre kettle I can not tell you enough just how good this trangia 25 is anyone that is camping or van life this is an absolute must have never will I have camping gas again.

Extreme fast delivery. Unfortunately I mis-ordered Trangia 25 rather than 27 (27 being the smaller size). Was my fault. Will suit family get aways perfectly!

Also perfekt.

This stove is a worthwhile addition to my camping gear. I am using fondue fuel so the flame is a bit more visible for safety.

Product came with all components nested inside the windscreen and fry pan and in the box. There is probably little that can go wrong with this stove. This is one of the most stable and reliable stoves I have seen, I use to use homemade alcohol or propane burners. I have had them dump over in the middle of the meal. This looks to be rock solid, no wobble at all, easy to light, (I use HEET), if the fuel is a little cool to light, I put my Zippo under the burner for a few seconds and try again. And a small amount of HEET will fuel the Zippo to light the Trangia. It does have 2 nice size pans to cook in along with the fry pan. If wind is not an issue, the pans are of a nature where they could be stacked and heat 2 things at once. If wind is an issue, heat one and it in a blanket till the other is done. I can see where if taken care of the Tangia 25-2 will last many years to come and I will probably give to my kids later on. This would also be a good stove to use if the utilities were down for a temporary time as long as you can find some alcohol somewhere. I usually keep some on hand anyway. Do use the alcohol that is 91% or more or use something like HEET or denatured alcohol.
