I have just embarked on a gut healing protocol and l-glutamine is one of the key recommended supplements. Supposedly it acts as a bandaid for leaky gut and really speeds up healing and recovery. I am thrilled to find an l-glutamine powder that is made in the USA by a reliable manufacturer, is clean and free of common allergens and cross-contamination, and has a liposomal delivery system for increased bioavailability and absorption. The taste is mild and slightly sweet. I will often add it to a fruit smoothie, but it's also quite alright just mixed into a glass of water.I made the mistake of getting another brand before I got this one only to find out that the other brand was produced in a facility with gluten and other allergens that I'm trying to heal from.
