It works!!!!
I usually don't write reviews, but for this product I have to. This product is excellent in every way in my opinion. It has it all! It's quiet, easy to use & has a remote so you can set it to whatever you want right from your bed. It also has several options such as speed, degree of coolness that is right for you. It has a swing feature that allows you to cool all areas at once or you can set it to stationary to cool one spot. It has different modes you can use, & a wet feature that puts out moisture. It has a blue light up feature that shows what settings you have on. It even has a timer! I am more than pleased with this purchase & highly recommend it. A++

AWFUL, DO NOT BUY
This is the worst fan that $120+ can buy! The evaporative cooling feature BARELY makes it cooler than regular air from a regular fan. But it produces a miniscule steam of air, a tiny vertical ribbon of a breeze that does not help combat the heat at all even on the highest setting! I would have been better off buying a $20 box fan.The way it works is there's a tank of water you fill up at the bottom, a pump pulls it to the top of the back area of the fan, it then releases the water down small channels, which pass a type of accordian-shaped cloth that gets wet, and is then supposed to cool air pulled in from the back of the fan, as it is pushed through the front of the fan. Only issue is that the cloth regular gets trapped in a way where only half or less of the air gets through. So imagine a vent about two feet tall, and you only get air from the top foot or bottom foot. And this has been since day one.I absolutely regret wasting money on this and wish I had spent more on an actually decent air conditioner. Pathetic product. Do not buy.

Not Great, But Good…
This AC/fan combo gets the job done if you are in an upstairs overheated apartment or office, small house or trailer. It will definitely help! If you are experiencing extreme temperatures and you do not have central air conditioning, I would definitely recommend buying probably three of these for a house that is between 1000 to 1500 ft.². The ice definitely helps. It doesn’t work nearly as well without it. It is just a fan without the ice. The ice and water are crucial. It’s pretty useless without It, I would highly recommend that you purchase extra ice packs, or just put ice cubes in with the water, you can do that. It has no negative affect on the unit However, make sure you do put in enough water with the ice that is very important! It is very quiet!Keep an eye on the water reservoir the first time you use it, it goes through water fairly quickly. if you have it on snowflake mode and the fan on high, it will go through a full tank of ice water within hours. It does feature a timer option.I would definitely recommend this AC/fan combo. If you’re on a budget, elderly or disabled, and need the extra cooling air, it does work well enough to give you some relief.Considering the cost versus quality overall, I give it four stars and would recommend it to my grandma.PS unfortunately my remote does not work but I’m OK with that…

great airflow
this is a great fan, love the amount of airflow this puts out. it's aesthetically pleasing and i like the noise is puts out as it's easy to fall asleep to. although it is a little hard to clean out the dust accumulation - requires screw driver. HOWEVER I WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN, FOR AN AIR CONDITIONER- you cannot fill up the water tank and expect to get cold air all night. it diminishes about half way through the night and emits an awful screeching noise when it is empty. i do like how it shows the temperature on top & there are lots of different settings.

Sure Hope You Have A Fast Freezer
This cooler is "fine" for the 15-30 minutes the ice and/or ice packs last, but after that, is almost entirely useless. The water reservoir is very cramped for the size of the provided ice packs, which are a pain to fish out, and the packs don't last long at all. I've tried a few inches of water and the rest ice and ice packs, and that works great - until everything melts and it's just blowing muggy air around the room. My freezer cannot keep up with the speed at which the ice and packs thaw out, unfortunately, even alternating the packs, one in the cooler and one in the freezer. As for everything else, it seems fine. The overall quality is about what you'd expect, and the variety of features (fan speed, timers, rotation) all work as desired. Visually, it's unintrusive for the most part, though I really don't like the bright blue LED temperature display being on continually if the device is turned off. It doesn't stay on while the cooler is active, just when it's off - makes little sense to me. Lastly, the water reservoir cannot be fully removed to be emptied, so you have to soak up the last half-inch or so of water with a towel, let it get grody. It's a pain.I purchased this swamp cooler for my small office - less than 300 square feet - in San Diego, and it simply doesn't do the job for which it was designed unless packed full of ice with very little water. If my office is 80 degrees and the cooler has a fresh supply of ice/packs, it will drop to about 74 degrees - fine, if it would stay there for awhile, but nope; as soon as the ice is gone, temps immediately begin climbing. Not what I had in mind, and I wish I could easily get a refund without paying for return shipping.

Cools off bedroom perfectly
For some post on here from the lazy people. It’s not a big deal to top off the water and put the cold packs in there or change them. The unit works perfectly fine. And DOES act like and small air conditioner u it. Perfect for a room.
