Mice check in but they don't check out!
I very seldom leave reviews so when I do, it's because a product really worked for me. I don't have time to spend doling out free advertisements. However, this product works incredibly well here in our barn! If you are serious about humane, catch and release, be sure you check it EVERY DAY and let the little disease ridden vermin run free. Just make sure they are no closer than 50 yards from any buildings or you will re-infest your house or someone else's. They can find their way back. If you do decide to wait a few days, be prepared for a blood bath that resembles "Night of the Living Dead" versus "Saw". Mice are viscious and cannibalistic! From what I could tell I trapped about 10 the first 2 days. If you don't want to experience the carnage yourself, I suggest putting about 4" of water in the bucket unless you really want to release and re-release them every day. My second catch was around 10 to 12 mice. I will be buying another of these traps to put in my basement!

Lids are undersized and do not fit Home Depot or Menards 5 gallon buckets
Pail lip Diameter must be less than 299mm!!!They know there is a problem because they include a roll of scotch tapešµāš« to secure the lid that does not fit. The fit has nothing to do with a āwarpedā bucket.Pail diameter must be less than 299mm for lid to fit. I finally found a bucket at Fleet Farm - only the orange color fit. You must measure pail lip in order to fit.

suppose to work
i hate to admit it but I had a mouse problem in my basement. I was desperate and determined to get them out. I put out lots of traps! Lots of different kinds of traps! I was willing to try anything to get them. This trap was relatively easy to assemble, I followed the directions and placed in in an area where I knew they were likely to travel. Other traps caught mice, this one never did. Can't say if it was the trap or where it was placed, but I never found a mouse in the bucket. Reviews from others said they had luck so I'm not willing to write it off.

The assembly instructions are hard to figure out
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to put the thing together. The illustrations are not very good. I also did not receive the gloves nor the tape that was supposed to be included with the package. I finally got it set up and it is ready for mice to visit. We'll see if it works.

Simple and light weight catcher to humanly be able move away rodents
This trap set works ok for what it is, you get a set of 3 bucket traps with ramps to use on your own buckets, I used it on a standard Home Depot bucket. The material is a bit thin, but just enough to support an average rodent, and is fairly simple to assemble. The ramp is specifically weighted with bits of metal to keep it balanced, so you won't really be able to put any bait on the ramp itself, not even a pinch of peanut butter. The ramp comes in two sections and is a bit flimsy, you may want to wrap some tape around where the two pieces join to prevent them from coming apart when being climbed on.Comes with an ok pair of gloves to be able to take a mouse out of the bucket, but may not be the best for protection from bites.

Its ok
we caught a couple of chipmunks, but they found there way out!! Found a taller 5 gallon pail and they still escaped. We didn't put water in the pail as we didn't want to drown them, my hubby did get one and then released it about 5 miles away. The racoons attacked the pail at night and chewed part of the cover, so had to duct tape that! I'm thinking we're going to have to put the water in, in order for them not to escape -:(they are fun to watch, but they are destroying my plants

Draws Squirrels Kills Sparrows
The squirrels knocking the thing apart, so if you have squirrels forget about catching rats/mice.Seed baiting unfortunately draws house sparrows. Sad to have to bury one.Maybe inside a shed it might work? I donāt know.
