Excellent product and slightly thicker consistency than many others providing greater control.

The oil itself seems fine, though I wouldn't say it is good. It leaves the skin feeling greasy for a few hours after applying unless wiped off and leaves the beard and skin looking glossy even after being given time to dry. It has a nice enough scent to it as beard oils go, but it is quite subtle, so if you're looking for a strongly scented oil, this may not be the best choice for you. Unfortunately, the glass dropper really speaks to the quality control for these bottles as there is a hole cracked in the top where it connects to the rubber bulb, meaning the oil leaks straight out of the dropper almost instantly, making it unsuitable for collecting appropriate measurements which results in far more difficulty applying the oil than was likely intended. I'm not sure how this could have gotten through any checks or even how it managed to be packaged and sent out as the piece of glass that broke off is not with the bottle so this must have happened before the dropper and bottle were assembled. Overall, it will give your beard a nice scent and make your face and beard feel quite greasy for a while, and the bottle/vial may be damaged so you might want to buy a couple of replacement 30ml glass dropper bottles from another seller.

Good product for making your beard look healthier however it doesn’t help with hair growth been using every day for 4 weeks and haven’t noticed any results yet, I only bought because I have a couple patches I was hoping to fill on my face

Es hat eigentlich keinen großartigen Geruch nur etwas Trägeröl aber dies war klar. Der Geruch wird von den beiden Bartbalsamem in den Bart gebracht und dann hält sich dieser auch den ganzen Tag sehr angenehm. The scent was not what I was expecting. It reminds me of tree sap mixed with some sort of mint. Interpretation of smells varies from person to person but that is my first thought upon smelling it. I suppose I was expecting something like I'd smell in a man's deodorant. Anyway, the bottle is filled with several different kinds of oil. The product listing will show you the details. I have a VERY dry beard, almost like steel wool. So, I definitely need oil to make it manageable. It does a good job in that department. I think over time my beard will become more and more soft, but it will take a while. I'm not a "scent" person so it's going to take me a while to get used to the pine tree sap scent. Give it a try!

I really want to like this product, and in some ways I really do. But ultimately, it just isn't working for me. First of all, it took me awhile to get into it because I was off put by the strong aroma it has. There is no perfume added, so they say, but the oils themselves are very pungent. This is a good sign, and I trust the product's quality and legitimacy. But so close to the nose and mouth, I didn't like using this after a shower and right before bed or in the morning so close to coffee and breakfast. So that slowed things down a little. Meanwhile, my beard (I wear a DiCaprio-like Van Dyke, but I grow it out a lot more) has been getting longer, dryer, and starting to flake. So, I gave this a daily whirl and started to get used to the scent. It's strong but quite pleasant. Unfortunately, after four straight days of use, my skin was drier and while my beard felt softer, it was flakier. This could just be a defoliating effect that I have to work through, but I don't really want to. As for use, it's a bit messy. When you pull the dropper out, you invariably lose a drop or two into the sink if you're not super-quick to catch it. It does dispense nice individual drop after that. They say to use "a few" but if you count a few as three, it's not enough for any kind of thickness of beard. I started using more like seven, and that got more coverage but still didn't seem to do enough. Of course, as mentioned above, I felt like my skin was drying out and I definitely had increased, as opposed to decreased flakes. I may yet return to this and finish out the bottle, but for now I've resorted to moisturizing cream. I've always had sort of problematic skin on my chin, so this just might not be for me. I will say it did not cause me to break out, as an experiment with olive oil some time ago did. So, if a rich, natural oil product that is strong- but good-smelling will work for you, you might like this product.

Pflegt nur mittelmäßig und riecht eher streng. Keine angenehmer Geruch, erinnert an eine Biotonne im Sommer mit direkter Lichteinstrahlung wenn man nach ein paar Tagen den Deckel öffnet!! Vielleicht für Botaniker ein Lieblingsduft aber sicher nicht für die Allgemeinheit!!

I got this for my son almost one month ago and waited to write. review until he was able to give me a solid statement on it. The statement was "Mom, the beard oil you got me is AMAZING, my beard dandruff is literally gone and my skin is not constantly itching anymore." I asked him about the hair growth and he did not have much to say, he hadn't noticed a difference there but he did also notice the health of the beard hair was much improved and nourished, not dry or brittle. I asked him about the smell and he said he doesn't exactly love it but its not strong and it doesn't. clash with his fragrances, so he gestured a thumbs up. I think it smells nice if that matters. LOL
