The aluminium case and stainless steel fork assembly looks and feels top class. The button release of the fork is very strong and I love the sound of the 'ping' for a few seconds that you don't get from plastic/ABS casings! The forks are approx 45mm long, very strong and not bendable at approx 1mm thick (my other version has 2mm blades in an ABS housing), have nicely engineered corners and the tips are tapered to quite a sharp point. Strangely seems very sturdy and very sharp enough to be potentially dangerous so common sense precautions advisable with any child access. The steel ball marker disc obviously has a magnetic attachment but with a bevelled seating so pressing on the 'bottom' edge lifts it for an easy slide upwards (no finger nails required). The ball marker disc is less than 1mm thick so is nicely low-profile for other players to putt near it. It can obviously be engraved but I might try fun stickers for a while. The main reason I wanted this style is that it can be forked into the green or off-green vertically and then a 2nd (chipping/putting) club shaft can be rested on the top groove to keep the grip off wet grass. This also works with the twin housing blades being able to just rest on the green horizontally giving a larger radius groove on the top edge to do the same. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to care for their club greens. Ideal present for every golfer.

Works well. While light weight seems that it's well made and looks like it should last longer than the price would indicate.
