I was trying to order a black polish, but this is more like slate grey. I thought it said black. Essie is still a great polish, and never had an issue with them.

It’s a good quality nail polish but it is NOT black. It’s a grey. It’s labeled black but it’s definitely not, it least the one I received wasn’t. I wish it was the black I needed for an event, but it’s not. I will have to find a replacement now really quickly.

This may have been fine for a customer looking for a dark navy blue polish, rather than a solid black. It may have been my mistake but I don't buy polish on the internet often and now just won't do that again. I am guessing that it is good quality, other than the color problem. I did not open it. Amazon would not allow a return or refund, so I took it to Target and gave it to the first young girls who said they would love to have it.
