The ice cube tray is fun and easy to use. It does not make a ton however so I will stash some extras in a larger tray. Overall, it does what it says!

This set of three ice trays is a great round ice maker! We were concerned when we read some reviews saying that the ice trays only make a 1/2 circle of ice ...Good news!1. Watch the video. The trick is to set the lower tray on a flat surface (we put it in our sink). Then fill the lower tray until the water overflows the tray's sides. When you put the top part of tray on gently/evenly push down on it. A little water spout will come out of each of the holes. That shows you that the water is full and it will freeze in a full circle. It works very well.2. It is great fun enjoying the round ice. No rough edges and it's a nice/smaller size.3. The handy plastic spill proof container that the ice trays come in allows you to conveniently make three trays of ice at a time!The less good news:1. Removing the round ice from the tray is a bit of a challenge. The tray must be twisted to eject the ice.2. There is always some water on top of the upper tray when the tray is filled ... so the water freezes and comes off in little ice pieces when you twist the tray.3. The whole filling the 3 trays and emptying the 3 trays is a bit time consuming. That is obviously a problem with any ice trays. We are a bit spoiled with the immediate access to ice provided by the ice maker in our fridge ... but our kitchen is being remodeled, taking our ice maker temporarily out of action.Overall a great product. Good quality ... Should last for years. Two thumbs up. Yes, we would recommend these ice trays to friends/family so they can enjoy the round ice ... :)

We just moved into a new house, and to our surprise, the ice maker was broken in the new house. While waiting for it to be fixed, I needed to come up with a solution but didn't want to spend money on those basic cube ice trays that I won't ever use again once our ice maker is fixed. So I wanted to find some "fun" ice cubes.These are great... It's fun and different. I wish the material was more of a silicone tray instead of plastic, because I feel like the plastic isn't the easiest material to deal with, and not sure how it will hold up over time. Also, I wish the ice tray bin was a little bit bigger and maybe more of an acrylic material for longevity, but I;m sure those materials would be at a much higher price point.The ice cubes are pretty easy to make.. just fill it up with water, a little bit over the line, and make sure when you close the tray, it snaps in place. If there's a little bit of excess water on top, I would leave it there. If you try to empty the water off of the top of the tray, water will leak from the ice tray, resulting in partially formed ice spheres.Overall- this is a great option for the price!!!! I would definitely recommend.

These are great. They are easy to fill, don't spill when placing into freezer because of raised walls, and make perfect spheres every time. They have a little fill line which is a little hard to see but if filled to the line the spheres turn out perfect. They are just the right size and don't melt super quick either. These are exactly as advertised. The tongs are also really cute, I leave them in the storage bin and they still work great even after being in the freezer for hours.The only thing is that the little bin can only store roughly 6 trays (2 refills of all 3 trays) worth of spheres which isn't a lot considering the size of them. Overall great though!!

I bought this a while ago and it's still going strong.It is a bit bulky, but I like the added container to keep plenty of ice cubes for later use. Solid purchase.

These trays work great! I put them to use right away. I was delighted to see that the bin does include a lid. That wasn’t clear from the photos or description that I saw. Also, the set includes a little pair of ice tongs.The bin is handy for storage, of course, but it’s also the right size for catching all the little spheres as they fall out of the trays, so you don’t have them bouncing around on the counter.The process of filling the trays can be a little messy, but I just did it in the sink and that worked perfectly – any extra water goes down the drain. If you use juice or something else you will have a little waste because some squirts out and ends up in the top of the tray. That’s as intended, but make a little extra.The little ice balls fall out of the trays pretty easily. I made one set of frozen milk balls for smoothies, and those stuck to the tray more than the water ones. I finally set the tray in warm water for a few seconds, and then they popped out easily.If you don’t fill the trays exactly for you’ll get a flat spot. No big deal.There is a little bit of “flashing“ where the trees come together – align around the spheres. I haven’t tried it yet, but I will bet if you shook them around in the bin a little it would knock all of that off.This should probably be obvious, but just in case (because the photos are misleading) – you have to make one tray of all the same stuff. You can’t fill half the tray with watermelon juice and the other half with frozen coffee. The whole tray has to be the same thing.

These trays make cute ice cubes but they are very hard to get out of the tray. Therefore, I am returning the trays. I’ve followed the instructions to the T, and still cannot get them out.

Love this ice tray! The shape is perfect. 1 star off due to the tongs not working well with the ice (tongs are too small). I also have the occasional ice spheres not come out perfect but that could just be user error. The container is extremely convenient for storage too
