This deck is all around the best out there. Bicycle makes the world's finest cards, and now with Ellusionist's help they have created a deck of cards that is absolutely amazing! Each card is hand-designed in precise detail, made with the highly acclaimed UV500 Airflow Finish, printed on high quality stock, and then made to look as if every card was a peice of art. The cards look fantastic; some people complain about the sides of the cards not being black, and it is true, but no card stock is black, so there's nothing that can be done, but still the cards look beautiful. The skeleton Jokers are amazing, the Ace of Spades is awesome, and just the appearance of the jet black deck with its dark and eerie looks is worth the price. Plus the deck comes with a gaff card, and a few special secrets so you can perform many tricks as soon as you pull them out of the beautiful box! The cards handle like a dream, rather it's Poker, or some other kind of game you're going to use them for, or Magic Tricks, or Cardistry, or just have them as a collectors item, they are the best for all the jobs. Being a Cardist, I highly value the quality and the performance of the Shadow Masters Deck, and believe it's the best out there for Card Flourishes and Card Manipulation, and all the rest. I highly recommend this deck for all purposes, it looks great, feels great, and is great. I hope this review is helpful, and if you're considering purchasing a deck of these cards, then you should do it, because you won't be dissapointed.

I absolutely love these cards! The colors, the style, and how good quality it is! This is my second time purchasing these set of cards as someone I know wanted my set of cards. I bought my first set 2 years ago or so and they lasted a very long time. I didn't use them excessively (every single day/week), but they did get a good usage throughout the years. After having them for 2 years or so, they do get wasted; the black starts to wear off near the edges of the card but that is OBVIOUSLY to be expected on colored cards, and any other cards in general. I'm actually quite surprised how good these cards held its black color (ONLY near the edges it lost some of its color, and it wasn't even that drastic). I honestly have nothing bad to say besides the fact that the cards might have a smell to it. The good thing is that you can only smell it if you literally put it on your nose, but eventually the odor of it will wear off, so no worries!

the gag trick stumps many people. I have practiced as every good magician does in front of a mirror several times and started to move up the ladder of people who appear easy to fool. so far I have got 17 people and no one has figured out how yet. what i usually do is i make sure that no one who has already seen the trick isn't nearby and I perform the trick like I usually do. then after they ask how I did it I usually exclaim that it is truly hard to say how I even did it. then as they aren't paying attention I swap the gag joker out of the deck and let them see the deck. there first initial response upon finding the joker is trying to rub the card or trying to reinacte what I did during the trick, of course failing to do so without the extra joker. fairly simple trick to learn and requires minimal knowledge of cuts and shifts. it requires a triple cut which makes the deck appear to be cut at random in which it just ends up being in the same position as it was before. it will also need a simple sleight of hand that is hard to directly see. overall, it is a marvelous deck that is very smooth and looks really nice. I get many compliments when I close the bridge with this deck and perform fans and other simple tricks. a deck that is worth every penny..

I'm not an expert in cards, but I've held a fair share of card decks in my hands and shuffled them. I will say that as I expected of the reputed brand of Bicycle, these cards have a quality feel to them (to me of course, but I'm a stickler for quality and whether or not things are worth what you pay for them). Right out of the box, these feel fast and slick when shuffling so keep track of them when you first open them as they do wish to escape. I mainly bought this deck to occupy my hands while I work, since I recently discovered that shuffling cards helps me think. Therefore, I go through quite a lot of shuffling every day. If one shuffles this deck using the waterfall showy style long ways, the cards are very stiff at first. That can be good or bad depending on your preferences. If one shuffles this deck using the same waterfall showy style short ways, the cards, to me, seemed to be more flexible and easy on the fingers. I would say that to break in the deck to optimal shuffling feel and easiness would be a good 30 to 50 shuffles. Once broken in, they prove to be neither too stiff nor too pliable. Given more shuffles and lots of those, they will become overshuffled meaning too pliable and soft, lending them to be unoptimal for shuffling. However that happens to all the decks. After 4 days of constant shuffling and I would say around a good 800-900 shuffles total, the deck still feels wonderful to me and may last me quite a while longer before I move on. the edges though, will tend to wear and will show since the entire deck is black. The white on the edges began to show up around the 150th to 200th shuffle for me. The deck itself I feel may be collectible. The aesthetics are nice as well as the added double backer. I don't know if those are included in all Ellusionist decks, but I really like that would love to have one for each deck I get in the future. I feel this deck is worth the ~$8 price I paid for it. Certainly enjoyable to have, and and eyecatcher as well since it is basically a deck where the colors are reversed (suit colors are still the same).

Glisse très bien, une belle finition, agréable à regarder et très pratique pour les tours de magies. Elles sont d'une qualitée irréprochable, le seule problème de ces cartes c'est qu'avec le temps le bord des cartes devient blanc à force de les utiliser. Je conseille vivement ces cartes à celui qui veut acheter des cartes bicycle noir.

Ein wirklich tolles Kartenspiel. Es kam gut verpackt an, war nicht beschädigt. Die Karten lassen sich gut in der Hand halten. Sie sehen unfassbar gut aus. Für Kartentricks perfekt. Es sind zwei Joker und eine Karte dabei, die von vorn und von hinten gleich aussieht. Material ist top, Preis ist angemessen. Immer wieder gern.

Una baraja con un tacto estupendo, que ya se percibe al momento de sacarla de su caja. Las cartas deslizan estupendamente y son perfectas para realizar trucos de cartomagia y cardistry. El diseño de este mazo es espectacular, de color negro con ilustraciones blancas y algún detalle de color rojo. Después de utilizarlas dutante meses de manera ocasional están como el primer día.

Excelentes para trucos, ligeras y no se pegan

Cercavo un mazzo di carte da poker, particolare, elegante e di ottima fattura, con Bycicle sono andato a colpo sicuro e non sto trovando il minimo problema, scorrono benissimo, sono molto maneggevoli e belle sia alla vista che al tatto, consigliatissime!
