Love it
Kittens are a little stiff at first but the book is great. As others have said a shame there is no brush and the page at the back comes off and isn't part of the book itself. I like to put it back on anyway to keep the kittens in order! My 10 month old loves any interactive book and is fascinated by the kittens

Just like from the Animation Movie - Despicable Me 1
If youve seen the film you probably fell in love with the idea of being able to read this book to your kids.Almost identical to the one in the movie the story itself is spot on!Good quality and value for money, keeping kids entertained time and time again!

Cute
Luckily I didn’t expect an exact copy from the film but it’s pretty close! The finger puppets are like a felt rather than the soft ones from the film. And there is no brush but we imagine one and brush brush the kittens. Cute book for any Despicable Me fans.....and their children. Edit: you take the back card off. It’s only attached by tape at the bottom so clearly not part of the book.

Mum and baby love this book!
This is a robust little book with a simple story in poetry as in the film. Its pages are thick card and you can wipe them clean. The finger puppets (felt-like) are perfect for small fingers and bigger fingers, making it accessible for anyone who wants to tell or read the story. I bought this as a present for a friend who has recently given birth (she's a cat lover). She says her son (at three weeks) is watching the kittens with awe as she tells the story. I hope it will become one of his favourites.

This is an ok book which has been reissued in this format to cash in on the popularity of Despicable Me. The book itself is pretty naff, but then so are a lot of children's books, and my son appreciated the link to the film and enjoyed it because of that. The design of the finger puppets is a bit cheap and not quite as you see in the film, making them awkward for an adult to wear while reading the book. The material they're made of is very stiff, so it's really hard to manoeuvre your fingers to make the kittens lap the milk (er, a critical part of the story!). If your child is really sold on Despicable Me, it's worth getting. But it's a bit of a compromise...
