Rain has ruined too many barbecues at my place, so I picked up the AMZCHEF 6 in 1 Health Grill as a stand-in. A week of use have more than convinced me it was a sound choice. The twin cast aluminium plates race up to about 280 °C, often before I have even located the tongs. Thanks to that heat, a rib-eye comes off with a proper pub crust yet keeps a rosy centre. Six programmes handle burgers, poultry, fish, sausages, toasties and the like, though you can ignore them and take full control if you wish. Open it flat and the 180-degree hinge turns the worktop into a café griddle, so pancakes sizzle on one side while bacon crisps on the other. A temperature probe plugs in to guard the middle of thicker steaks. It works, although the cable feels flimsy and objects to being forced into a tight coil. The four non-stick plates pop out with a click, disappear into the dishwasher and return spotless, which leaves me free to pour a pint rather than scrub. It is hardly small and the lead could do with an extra half-metre, but the searing power, painless clean-up and sheer versatility make the price entirely fair.

I’ve been really enjoying this grill! It’s super powerful and heats up in no time, which makes cooking so much faster. I love that I can adjust the temperature based on what I’m grilling—whether it’s meat, veggies, or seafood, everything turns out delicious. It’s also very easy to use and clean, so I don’t have to worry about any hassle after cooking. What I like most is that even in winter, I can still enjoy the fun of having a BBQ indoors. I recently visited a Korean BBQ place nearby, and ever since, I've wanted to get a grill like the ones they use. Living in a studio flat with no friends and a non-existent social life (hence why I’m wasting my time writing this review) means an outdoor BBQ is out of the question for me. I started searching on Amazon for a similar grill and found a few that cost only £35. However, most of them didn’t have any way to control the heat or a timer. And let’s be honest, I’m no Gordon Ramsay; I need a timer and step-by-step instructions to create anything edible. So, although the price was a bit steep, I decided to buy this one. I managed to get it for £125, and knowing I got it at a discounted price made my Indian ancestors proud. I was so excited when the grill arrived. It was shiny and looked very modern and sleek. I immediately felt like I had a futuristic, sophisticated grill that could transform me into an Indian Ramsay (well, halfway there, at least). It has a preheat function that lets you know when to put the meat on and a timer that automatically turns off the grill. There’s also an easily removable drip tray to collect excess oil, and the grill pan itself is very non-stick and easy to wash. Although it came with some waffle-making attachments, I’ve never used them. The only small gripe I have, apart from the price (which it fully deserves), is the space it takes up. I’ve seen a model by a different brand that doesn’t have most of the features this one does, but it can be stored vertically in the kitchen once you’ve finished cooking. A feature like that would have been extremely helpful. But it is what it is. I just really hope they don’t drop the price below £125, or that would make me a bit sad. Overall, I’d give this grill a solid 10/10.

It’s big enough to toast a few sandwiches at the same time but smaller enough to put away in cupboard. Hinged handle just stays in position / it doesn’t lock. The waffle plate is only none stick one side / shame other side wasn’t made a jaffle (deep fill) plate on other side. Not sure the non-stick coating will last as long as Breville sandwich toaster I’m replacing after 10 years - Breville don’t even make like they used to - don’t make anymore.

This is quite bulky to keep on a worktop, but easy to pick up & put in a cupboard. Very versatile, easy to change plates for different items. Easy to lie flat to use as a double plate. Very large cooking surfaces. (Including a waffle plate for 4 waffles). Once you get used to operating it, it’s great. Not particularly user friendly if you’re unfamiliar with it. Multiple time and temperature settings enabling a wide variety of different cooking options (for fish, steak, gammon, toasties etc). I use this at least a couple of times a week & so far it’s great!

Ich habe lange überlegt von welcher Marke ich mir einen Kotaktgrill kaufen soll. Es gibt viel Auswahl aber wohl auch vieles das nichts taugt. Der Optigrill von Tefal soll zwar gut sein, ist aber in mehreren Punkten nicht das was ich wollte und auch zu teuer. Nach vielem Vergleichen kam ich letztlich auf diese Marke wobei ich am Anfang doch sehr kritisch war, da sie mir nicht bekannt war und der Preis auch nicht gerade niedrig ist. Folgende Punkte waren mir wichtig: - nicht fixierte obere Platte damit der Druck gleichmäßig aufliegt und das Grillgut nicht schräg gequetscht wird - einfache Bedienung - mind. 200 Grad Celsius - abnehmbare Grillplatten zur Reinigung - zusätzliche Platten für Waffeln (ich habe kein Platz für 2 Geräte) - schneller Aufheizvorgang Alle Punkte erfüllt dieser Grill. Dann mal zur eigentlichen Bewertung: Der Kontaktgrill macht optisch einen sehr guten Eindruck. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, es sind keine Mängel erkennbar. Die Platten sind leicht raus und rein zu machen, arretieren aber sehr sauber. Die Knöpfe und das Rad sind angenehm zu bedienen. Von der Optik und der Qualität könnte es genauso gut ein Produkt von WMF sein. Die Bedienung ist wirklich einfach und das Gerät heizt sehr schnell auf. Die Beschichtung macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Obere Platte ist etwas schwerer wodurch ihre Position relativ gut gehalten wird nachdem sie runter gedrückt wurde. Sie ist stufenlos verstellbar, es gibt leider keine Arretierung, war bei mir bisher aber auch noch nicht notwendig. Der untere Teil ist etwas leichter, was dazu führt dass man diese beim Öffnen unter Umständen etwas nach unten drücken muss da es sich sonst leicht anheben könnte. Stellt für mich persönlich aber kein Makel dar. Die obere Platte wird auf der Außenseite heiß, die Untere bleibt aber auch bei längerem Gebrauch völlig kalt, sie kann also auf jeder Arbeitsfläche platziert werden. Wie sich das verhält wenn es auf 180 Grad geöffnet wird habe ich nicht getestet. Für meinen Geschmack könnte das Stromkabel etwas länger sein. Auch in punkto Preis ist dieser Grill angemessen. Er ist zwar deutlich teurer als ein 50€ Grill, meiner Meinung nach ist der Preis aber gerechtfertigt für die Qualität die man bekommt. Vergleichbare Produkte kosten hier auch gleich bis zu 300€. Alles in allem muss ich sagen, dass der Kauf sich wirklich gelohnt hat. Ich benutze ihn oft und gerne, egal ob für Sandwiches, Burgerpatties oder Belgische Waffeln.

Molto utile,si può programmare il tempo di grigliatura e anche la temperatura! Per me è molto comodo perché le griglie hanno doppio uso e si smontano per lavarle

Je cherchais depuis plusieurs années un grill multifonction à prix abordable & je suis entièrement satisfaite. Je fais régulièrement des toast & des gaufres, cela convient parfaitement. De temps en temps cuisson de viande et idem rien à dire. Les plaques se changent facilement, se nettoient aussi bien à la main qu’au lave vaisselle , l’utilisation de l’appareil est simple. Bref , conquise.

Appareil AMZCHEF 4 en 1 très pratique et polyvalent. Plaques interchangeables, les croque-monsieur n’attachent pas. Je recommande vivement.
