We use these whistles to alert all workers in the area that a tree will be felled by our sawyers. They are great for grabbing attention of all workers in the area. We were happy with the cost, the quality and the volume.

why you need a whistle!
These are good loud whistles that I give away to Firemen and Law enforcement personnel. I especially look for elderly persons, not physically strong and/or mobility handicapped. I have purchased almost 2000 and given away over 1000. I have never charged anyone for a whistle. I do not give them to young adults or children who might abuse them and harm their hearing. The orange ones are a little cheaper but the multi colored ones seem to have a higher desirability when I attach a similar color wristband to it. I believe everyone should have a whistle because they never know when they might need it, if/when a problem might occur. I am 6'3" 220 pounds and a retired USMC Sgt. veteran (0331) w/ 3 PH's (Vietnam) and I carry my whistles every day. I try to give away one to persons who want/need them. I find that those persons in the best shape are the ones that most readily accept them.

Keep your neighbors safe with these whistles
These are great for handing out so neighbors can warn neighbors about icy conditions on the streets. They're fairly loud and compact enough to fit under clothing while wearing them around your neck.

Whistles and they work
We bought these whistles to give away in a neighborhood meeting where we discussed emergency preparedness. They are nice and bright. Work well in an emergency kit or to keep in your car or on a keychain. They are not amazingly loud like a metal coach whistle would be, but they get the job done.
