Q: Why is this unavailable?

1) Demand (not enough copies) 2) Scalpers (Do NOT buy from Scalpers)! Buying from scalpers is the main reason why this happens. They will keep buying in bulk as long as people buy from them. You’re losing money while they make money.

Q: when can we actually order the physical version?

Nintendo has stated that they are producing more physical copies in order to meet the demand. If you can hold out, wait instead of buying one for more than MSRP.

Q: Is this a limited release or will they release more later on ?

This won't be a limited release and Nintendo recently released a statement regarding physical copies selling out (per NintendoLife): "We will do everything we can to meet the strong demand for the product. Please continue to check with major retailers for availability. If the Metroid Prime Remastered game sells out at various retail locations in the U.S., we will work to provide more units as soon as possible.". So hang in there, check around, and don't cave into the scalpers! Hope this helps :)

Q: Will the physical version be back from Amazon as seller?

My hunch is yes, but I don't think there's been any official word on that. Nintendo would be silly not to print more copies.
