Works great!! Easy to use despite heavy weight. I thought it would be cheap looking but works like an expensive leveler. Think quality metal. I used it to level out dirt in my yard before laying grass carpet! Love the adjustable pole!

This is a great tool for prepping soil for seeding. I took a chance in buying this and am really happy that I did. Even though I may never use it again, it made the work of leveling the soil with much more than the price.

Updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars: Customer service reached out and provided a new leveling rake. It did confirm my suspicions that the first rake had a defect, but the second rake held up very well for what I needed. Customer service was great and easy to work with! If there were an item to take the record for worst thing I've ever purchased on Amazon, it would be this. The connections are totally unsecured, nor do they friction fit tight enough for this to be usable. I can get maybe 1 push, then coming back, the thing comes apart. I've pushed hard trying to see if they're supposed to snap into place, but nope, it REALLY is thar terrible. Buy ANYTHING else

Is it the best leveling rake on the market? Clearly not. Is it a reasonably good tool for the price if you have smaller jobs? Yes. I was just trying to level my lawn in certain pockets and this moved around the topsoil/peatmoss layers fine. If I had done a more granular sand and my lawn was bigger, I'd probably recommend at least a 30" width -- not only to save time, but that will help make it more level since it basically serves to level it straight over a longer diameter. If you go into it knowing its limitations, can't complain. Seems relatively solid & heavy (heavy is a GOOD thing), easy to put together, and sufficient for what I needed it for. I feel like I got an extra metal section also for some reason (more than 6' tall total -- maybe they provide that for "free" in case one is defective and they don't want to have to deal with return costs, but mine were all fine so I didn't end up using one when assembling. They also provide an extra screw and nut just in case). Clearly, it's not the finest quality on the market, but you can't find a leveling rake this cheap at big box stores, so if it's something you only need on rare occasions and for certain use cases/small jobs, then it's worth having in your tool shed. 5 stars for the given cost/listed size Clearly not a 5-star leveling rake in the grand scheme of all leveling rakes, but that's not a fair comparison.

Well it was super easy to put together took me about 2 minutes. Pretty light and sturdy and a good design

The head is metal and works well. It assembled easily. It had clear instructions. But the problem is the flimsy yellow grip handle at the top as shown in the photo. It cracked on the first use. So it does not fit tightly on the handle and the ability to use it as a hook is useless. Except for the easy to break top it works well for small homeowner jobs. Also there was no way to contact customer support to get a replacement grip.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This works so well! All my leveling ground needs are met!

First off the rake worked great in doing what I bought it for. The instructions sucked on putting together. I rank the tool 5 stars but deducted one for horrible instructions.
