Coast WPH34R WATERPROOF Rechargeable Headlamp

I’ve trusted Coast for several years as my dedicated hunting lights. This light is no exception. It is a bit heavy but it’s BULLET PROOF! It’s made of an aluminum body and completely waterproof. It comes with a rechargeable battery and charging cord (that has both a “C” style plug and a USB end) but also comes with a small “AAA” battery pack that holds 3 AAA batteries. This is a game changer in rechargeable hunting lamps. I keep the battery pack in my hunting bag and if I forget to charge my lamp, I simply trade the rechargeable battery out with the battery pack in seconds. So I never have to be without a head lamp. This was the biggest downfall for me with rechargeable lights and now a thing of the past. This light is very bright on high for tracking down game field dressing, and other situations when the more light you have, the better. It also has many other settings including low, red and green light. This is definitely my new go to head lamp.

Looking for more American made that doesn’t break the bank and gives good light. This product hits all the marks. As a mechanic this give MORE than enough light turbo is over powering for up close work and perfect for outdoors trailing. Good weight, battery life. Does get a little hot but that’s what to expect with this amount of light and such a small frame. Charging is quick and easy with indication lights. In my eyes more than worth it per these Chinese brands minus the higher end ones line fenix and what not. Headband had silicone lining to prevent slipping overtime.

Love this light. Bright when you need it with the low, red and green setting being perfect for when you just need to see stuff close to you. I also like that it came with a rechargable battery as well a aaa battery caddy I can use while the other battery is charging. It is a bit heavy but not enough to be a problem.

Not too heavy good for night fishing around water specially waterproof up to 5 meters. Well made and very bright. Love the usb-c rechargeable system and optional 3xAAA batteries.

I love this headlamp! Super durable and extremely bright! Very critical for when i have to work early hours on the golf course. This is the only headlamp that allows me to see my mowing/rolling lines on the greens which can be very difficult in the dark, even when using the super bright lights on the mowers. Headlamp reflects the direction of grass perfectly to help me mow the sraightest of lines in the dark. Not only is it bright but it also works great over long distances to help me spot stuck irrigation heads. The only thing that I do not like about this head lamp is that it uses special batteries. It does come its custom battery, but if you look online for a extra battery, you'll see they are either sold out, even on the coast website, or way over-priced. This headlamp does come with a insert that will take 3 AAA batterys. After checking all the specs online to find any other compatible batteries that may work, I found sticking a 18650 battery (most commonly used with vape mods) seemed to work just fine. The zx955 zithion battery is rated at 3.7v, the same as a 18650, @4000mAh. The 18650 batterys are only rated for 3000mAh, so a little less run time for the headlamp with the 18650. I would recommend this head lamp to my friends, family and coworkers.

Length of time battery lasted, different settings for near and far and wide beam. Amazing distance quality construction can run off rechargeable battery provided or three AAA batteries ever used just a bit pricey but I guess you get what you pay pay for.

Super bright for the money. It is a little on the heavy side, but the brightness makes up for it. The battery life is great. The only downside to the light is that an extra battery is expensive. The charging port is easily accessible without removing the battery. The button is easy to toggle through the settings.
