I have an Alesis DM 10X kit. Can I use this software with my kit?

Yes you can use it with dm10 x. I purchased a midi to usb cable and customized a default kit to remap the midi settings and change some notes. It was almost plug and play but the software thought my tom 1 was tom 2. But it works and it is awesome, and I do not know why it is not more popular. Also, you can download any midi song and it will allow you to play along.

Got a Japanese versioned box. Anyone know if the software gives you the option to install in English? What about the serial num in manual?

Yes it does. There is a userguide in english inside the CD Inside the user guide you will see where the serial is.Please let me know if I can help you with anything else. BTW is an OK software

Is there a download fro Ipad?

No, currently this is PC and Mac only.
