Shark ZU102 Rotator Pet Upright Vacuum with PowerFins HairPro & Odor Neutralizer Technology, Charcoal, 2.9 L Dust Cup

I just purchased this vacuum and am really impressed with it after the first use. It was really easy to put together. The instructions included are detailed with pictures. It’s easy to transition to handheld. There’s no extra hose you have to lug around or store. It’s lightweight so moving it up and down my three-story townhouse is easy. It’s also very maneuverable getting around furniture and other items. The suction on this vacuum is amazing. It pulled out so much dirt from my rugs that I had no idea my old vacuum missed. I have a German Shepherd and two long haired cats who all shed a lot. My old vacuum could never get all the fur. I also haven’t had an issue with hair/fur getting stuck in the brushes. This thing pulls up everything. I’m just amazed at how much it picks up. Another feature I love is you can adjust the suction. I have different length rugs and I can lower the suction on the longer length rugs so the vacuum will actually move. There’s also a separate carpet and floor setting. Overall I’m really happy with my purchase so far. I will be able to keep my floors much cleaner. As you can see from the picture this was from an area rug. I had vacuumed with my old vacuum the day before. It clearly missed a LOT of dirt and fur!!

This vacuum works great on all floors, especially on the carpet setting. Pet hair and all dust is easily sucked up.

I’ve now had this vacuum for a year, it is so well worth the money. I switched from my Dyson to this shark model. It’s easy to use, it’s easy to clean. The suction is the best I’ve ever seen in a vaccum. It’s lightweight. Lots of length to use attachments. The scent boosters work great. I can see where if I had dogs this would be great for the smell. The scent boosters also have levels you can set . I have cats and it collects the hair like no other vacuum. For noise level, I don’t think it’s loud. The quality of this baby is made built to last! I will never buy anything other vacuum. My only con is I wish I did this so much sooner!

This thing is awesome! It moves so smoothly over carpet and extracts SO MUCH dirt and hair that my other vacuum never came close to touching. There is definitely something unique about the PowerFins HairPro design... Brush rollers on regular vacuums always get strained by long hair, getting tangled and wrapped around the roller, causing the motor to work harder, and sometimes give out completely on you. You can flip it over and take a razer to the roller and cut everything away of course but what a pain that is, right? This thing somehow doesn't get anything tangled around it. As I was vacuuming I was watching the roller (since the cover is clear you can see the whole thing spinning), and occasionally I would see dark lines of hair appear to wrap around it, but then they'd disappear and end up in the container. I don't know what magic is happening here but the roller is completely clear of hair and I couldn't be more excited about that. Speaking of the container - SO easy to empty! Pops right out, and you can dump from the bottom and/or the top, then easily pops right back into place without a mess. Suction from the hose is also nice and comes with a couple attachments. Another plus - this vacuum is pretty quiet too! Obviously no one will be taking a peaceful nap while it's on but compared to other vacuums, this one isn't that loud, yet still powerful! Durability remains to be seen of course (I did buy an extended warranty), but the first impression is absolutely a good one!

First- the positive. This is the best vacuum I have ever purchased in regards to suction and picking up embedded dirt. I have 2 cats so I have lots of cat hair and I cannot believe what is in that canister to dump when I'm done. My carpet fibers are also lifted and feel so clean under my bare feet. It's easy to put together and the rotating head is great to get at corners and beneath cabinets although it is a little awkward at times to maneuver. The vacuum is a little heavier than I like but its efficiency at cleaning carpets outweighs this minor disadvantage. Someone with wrist and hand issues may find this machine difficult to operate. The negative- the cord. The dreaded cord. First, it should be longer than it currently is but it is always constantly in the way and you really have to watch that you don't run over it. The little hook on the machine to snap the cord in is pretty useless and I, at least, have to maneuver the machine with the cord in my hand trying not to run over it. There should be a better system for this. Unless I'm missing something. Overall, this is a great purchase for the price and I am happy with it.
