how do i know when this product expire? I have one and it says on the description elaboration date 03/11/13. If you can help me would be great. Thanks

I have used this product for over 30 years. Some cans are 8 to 10 years old & the contents are as good as the day I bought them.Great Product.

What is the proper primer for this product?

This is a coating for bare metal. I wouldn't use it over the top of a primer.

Need to recoat an old fashioned televison tower, about 20 feet high. Would I need one can or two?

I would go with 2 cans if it were me. 20' high and whatever the diameter of the tower will eat up 1 can pretty quickly. The other factor is how heavy or how light you apply this.. Obviously heavier will use more product.
