Can you fit a 12" screwdriver in the bottom?

Yes it fits just great. I took my large screwdriver which is 12 1/2 inches and it fit it in there just fine. But just to let you know I don't keep my 12 1/2 inch screwdriver in the bottom of my tool bag. I put it I need outside of the tool bag and put it in one of the slots so I can grab it Real quick when I needed. I used my tool bag every day and I love it.

What's the max lb/kg anyone has load this bag up? I intend to keep this in my car only so it wont spill everything out in a sharp turn

Manufacturer states 35lbs. I probably run it at 25 lbs. The vetos have large wide bases and have full zippers, they very rarely tip over.

Are these bags really worth this kind of money? And what is the real life of these bags?

I bought this bag in May 2016. I use it to make my living carrying 35-50# of tools. I have broken 3 carry straps (which have been promptly replaced), but the bag itself is still in near new shape (no tears or rips, stands up, zipper works). Very well designed, and very rugged. i expect a few more years based upon it's current condition.
