The only downside is that they're a little smaller than most due to the sloping roof. That said, we have 4 cats using 2 boxes and they got used to the smaller size pretty fast.

The quality of plastic is not really that expensive its just right for its price, cheaper than pet stores but works as it should. This helped us contain the odour of a newly pooped cat.
