Quality peice. USA made. High-grade stainless, barely ferrous. Bit is highly ferrous. Non-magnetic.
Seems nice enough, has a quality bit in it. There is a 4mm set screw holding the bit in place. I have inquired as if this has been mechanically fastened or loctited, as its quite tight. I'd just take a torch to it, but best to ask. As is, just fine. If that screw is just got alot of torque or loctite, I am going to like that. I mean, you should start doing that if thats not whats going on here. Good knurling, enough, not spikes. Barely ferrous, which is surprising for stainless these days, a higher grade than your average China junk, cuz USA baby! The bit is extremely ferrous, but not magnetic. HIGH amounts of carbon if its stainless. Attracts like regular tool steel. Get what you pay for, this is a little hunk of lasting gold. Not gonna hang it from any magnets., maybe stationary on a fishing magnet from the bit.

A little expensive but weel made.
I use this for some tight spaces on dialysis machines. I is a really nice little tool. it is well made and has not ever shown signs of rust. I cut off the flat side and have a perfect small screwdriver.

Great little tool for tight spaces
This works great when you don't have much room to work in.

One of the most useful speciality tools...
I can't believe I am saying this, but this short stubby screwdriver is one of the most useful speciality tools I own. I think this tool is marketed primarily for it portability/pocket-ability. However, I keep it in my large toolbox for use in areas where a normal screwdriver would not fit. I can't believe how many times this short stubby screwdriver has saved the day since I got it ... "Where have you been all my life!".

Perfect for hard to reach spaces
Great addition to tool kit. Had a couple screws in a small space between the truck cab and the bed, space was just big enough to get my hand into, and this little gem saved the day!

Short Stubby Screwdriver
This little screwdriver feels cheaper than I expected—more "bottom of the junk drawer" than "toolbox essential." The product photos cleverly hide the set pin, so imagine my surprise when I found it held together like a secret science project.Sure, it says “assembled in the USA,” but the parts feel like off-the-shelf imports slapped together with a single screw and some patriotic ambition. Also, calling the bit sizes “big” and “small” feels like a joke from a cartoon. A little transparency on materials (spoiler: the bit is not stainless steel) and actual sizing would go a long way.Not terrible, but definitely not tool-of-the-year either.

Pricey but appears high quality. (Possibly a standard 1/4" hex bit might also fit, I think)
This product strikes me as a bit pricey for what it is, but it appears to be high quality. The knurled wheel is precision machined from non-magnetic stainless steel. I can't verify that the double-ended bit is also stainless steel; a magnet sticks to it. The bit appears to be precision machined as well. The double-ended bit is held in place by a tiny set screw on the side of the wheel (in the knurled portion). The "hole" for the bit in the middle of the wheel is hex shaped, about the size of the standard 1/4" hex bit.So I think it just might be possible to replace the original bit with a standard 1/4" hex bit by simply loosening this tiny set screw; that would further increase the versatility and value of this little tool. (You could make this mini screwdriver even "stubbier"/shorter for use in a really tight space. Different shape/size bits could be used with it, not just a flat and a Phillips of a single size.) I don't have a tiny Allen wrench to loosen the set screw, so I haven't tried it yet.I would have liked this product even better if it was made to work with replaceable 1/4" bits by design. Since it isn't and given the high price, I am deducting 1 star and rating it 4 stars. As measured (Size #2 double-ended bit):- Bit length: 30mm (1.18")- Diameter: 28.2mm (1.11")- Weight: 40g (1.4 oz) without the red pouch
