A great pair of comfortable, waterproof walking boots, and good value on Amazon. I’m on my third pair (I do a lot of walking) and would happily recommend them.

Since my husband does a lot of walking whatever the weather he needs reliable shoes that won't let him down. These are really lightweight, comfortable and have a good sole. He has done a waterproof test and is satisfied that these shoes are just what he has been looking for. As for long distance hiking that remains to be seen but they are strong and sturdy so no reason to think they will let him down.

Look to be robust well made shoes but time will tell. Rather expensive compared to some. These are wide fitting, a fit not widely available for some reason. Plenty of room to move toes in these and excellent "bouncy" feel to soles.

I have had walking shoes like these, from Mountain Warehouse previously; they turned out to be very comfortable with good foot support. I don't yet know if they are waterproof, because not yet tested in the rain; however, I am prepared for the possibility that they are not waterproof, because there does seem to be a problem these days with breathable waterproof linings, even in high-end manufacturers' walking shoes. There are many reviews where reviewers report such linings are not waterproof, and it seems to be random whether the shoes you buy are waterproof or not. If you want greater certainty of waterproof-ness, then buy good quality leather boots. Otherwise these are good value for the price.

I bought these to replace an old pair of walking shoes whose soles had started to squeak too much. I have now used them for a few walks in the local hills. They needed no significant breaking in, and they are suitably wide: I normally take a size 11 wide fitting. On boggy ground and stony hill paths they feel very stable and the vibram soles are properly stiff. A big plus: the flat laces stay tied without needing a double knot!

These were comfy from the beginning. The sole was sturdy and had good grip. They fitted really well for slightly wide feet. The downside was that they split at the front after a couple of months meaning that they were less waterproof. There is also a sqelching noise on one shoe! Initialky very pleased but disappointed later

The tread at the heal is wearing through and squeaking after only a few months of light use. I would like to return the shoes but the amazon process says I cant.
