I have both these Abib overnight jelly masks, the PDRN collagen and rice probiotic. As both a skincare fiend & cosmetic formulator, I’m obsessed. Having found the rice probiotic mask during a 9mo course of Accutane, I can attest to its hydrating power for sensitized skin. I’ve continued to use it since finishing the course about 2mo ago now (still on the same tub! Good value). Texturally, they’re both ultra-cushiony, goopy, silky gels that spread thickly on the skin to cool & hydrate. They actually feel quite like ultrasound jelly but less sticky. While that texture profile may not be for everyone, I personally adore a good gel :) Their ingredient lists are nearly identical, with the PDRN mask containing a longer list of actives, making the rice probiotic version better suited to soothing super sensitive skin types, though both should be well-tolerated by most, as they are both fragrance-free and don’t contain any known comedogens (search them on INCIDecoder for a closer look!). My only note is that I always prefer my skincare products packaged in pump bottles or tubes to avoid repeated exposure to air & bacteria from finger- or spatula-dipping, but that’s not a gripe with the formulas themselves. Overall, are great heavily-hydrating masks that can be reasonably used day or night (though I can’t attest to how they’d work under makeup), safe, benign, and effective for (most) sensitive, dehydrated, and/or acne-prone skin. Also a big fan of Abib’s (also-frag-free) bifida serum :)

I’ve been using the Abib Rice Probiotics Overnight Mask Barrier Jelly for a couple of weeks now, and it has quickly earned a permanent spot in my skincare routine. Right out of the jar, the texture feels like a cross between a jelly and a balm. It glides on cool and soothing, absorbs within a minute, and leaves a glossy, hydrated finish that still feels breathable. It’s not greasy at all—just a gentle shimmer of hydration that makes your skin feel pampered, not overloaded. Overnight, the formula truly does its work. In the mornings, I wake up to skin that looks softer, plumper, and noticeably clearer around the cheeks and chin. It helps lock in moisture so well that my skin stays balanced throughout the next day—no midday dryness or tightness, even when I use drying actives like retinol or vitamin C. What really stands out is how bright and even my complexion looks. Fine, subtle dryness around my nose and mouth has disappeared, and my pores appear less obvious. The lightweight probiotic-rich formula feels soothing without burdening sensitive or acne-prone skin. I also appreciate how well it layers in. I often apply it after serum or toner and then follow with SPF or a light moisturizer in the morning. My base products glide on beautifully over it—no pilling, no tacky residue, just glide and glow. If you have dry, combination, or sensitive skin and want a glow-inducing overnight booster that isn’t heavy or pore-clogging, this gel mask is a dream. It provides the deep moisture of a sleeping mask but feels light and refreshing. A little goes a long way, and I’m already halfway through the jar—I’ll definitely be buying more.

10/10 nighttime or winter moisturizer right here. I use retinol and winter is brutal where I live (cold, windy, & dry) so I'm always fighting for retaining moisture and keeping my skin from getting irritated and chapped or just feeling dry and tight when I wake up. This solves all those for me. This feels soothing and cooling when you apply it and the thick jelly texture is easy to work with over other products. I don't find it sticky or overly heavy as other reviews say, but my skin is VERY dry. It doesn't fully sink in because it's a barrier and sleep mask but it's not heavy like aquaphor or Vaseline and overall feels good. I don't have any issue using it during the day at least. I wake up with very soft and hydrated skin, and my usual retinol flaking in the winter has so far not been an issue since using this. I'd happily use a giant tub of this all over my body in other dry areas, it's that good.

It's heavy, but less so than Vaseline. Vaseline causes me to breakout even though I'm constantly told it shouldn't. This feels sticky, but otherwise calming and seems to help my skin heal. I have pcos - large pores and produce extra oil, rosacea, and just very sensitive skin. You definitely have to let it sit before laying down but my skin is always less irritated in the morning.

this is my all time holy grail moisturizer. a little goes a long way. if you have sensitive dry to super dry skin GET THIS! also perfect for the winter months! makes my face look super super glowy and hydrated. my face is beyond soft the day after using this. doesn’t clog my pores or break me out or irritate my super sensitive acne prone skin. this does make your face sticky for a bit but i think it’s so worth it.

Parfait masque anti rides. Peau souple, lisse et confortable. Ridules atténuée dès la première utilisation. Texture gel qui ne nécessite pas d'être appliquée en grosse quantité. Je conseille de l'appliquer 1 heure avant de dormir pour ne pas déposer la totalité du masque sur l'oreiller. Ainsi une grande partie est déjà absorbé par la peau.

I'm starting to become a hige fan of Korean skin care and this product is no different. Its well packaged with clear instructions and has a small application spatula in the lid. The product itself is a clear jelly like consistency, which when applied goes on smoothly, with a slight cooling sensation - its quite refreshing. In the morning after rinsing it off my skin feels soft, well hydrated and glowy. On first glance this product is priced at the higher end, however take into account the size of the pot and the fact that a little really does go a long way and it balances itself out. I would defiinitely recommend giving this a go.
