A nice 4k Transfer with some nice colour depth
As a previous owner of the DVDs and the normal Blu-rays the 4K upgrades are a nice addition. Some movies have a better transfer than others but still a nice step UP. The HDR upgrade is quite nice . I have to admit and I am quite bias as I watched these on a OLED 4k 2017 model which gives these movies an draw dropping experience, blacks are amazing and colours are out of this world .If you are a potter fan you will enjoy these but do make sure you have a 4K TV that has HDR as you will not benefit much from normal blu-rays.

4K Review: Great Set, Minor Upgrade
This set is pretty cool, You get each film in individual 4K cases unlike the US copy, but also unlinke the US copy you only get the 4K discs, No bonus features at all, Just the theatrical movies on 8 4K discs. Im not too fussed as i have the hogwarts set with all the special features but for the price its a bit of a p*ss take.PQ Review:HP1Video: 7/10Audio: 8/10Notes: A big step up from the old bluray transfer which is the same one used since HDDVD.HP2:Video: 9/10Audio: 8/10Notes: Beautiful transfer, sharp, colourful and full of life.HP3Video: 7/10Audio: 8:10Notes: A step up from the bluray but not leaps and bounds.HP4Video: 8/10Audio: 8/10Notes: Colours looks nice a punchy, nice and sharp picture for the most part.HP5Video: 7/10Audio: 8/10Notes: 2K Upscale, HDR is subtle but nice.HP6Video: 7/10Audio: 8/10Notes: 2K Upscale, again HDR is subtle but effective, Deep inky BlacksHP7Video: 8/10Audio: 8/10Notes: 2K upscale, Punchy colours, Subtle use of HDRHP8Video: 8/10Audio: 8/10Notes; Nice punchy HDR is places, When the HDR colors are in place they look plenty punchyOverall its a nice release, just a shame Warner Bro’s UK decided to not include a Atmos Audio option or new 4K scans for the last 4 films. Overall if you do not already own HP on bluray i would say pick up the Hogwarts collection as you can get it for roughly the same price as this 4K set and it includes a ton of bonus features as well as the 3D discs for the last 2 films but if you dont care for 3D or special features then this 4K set should satisfy you.

Discs no longer play
I bought this 4k set just over 4 years ago. The discs have always been a bit temperamental, but now they are just unplayable. All other discs, dvd, blu-ray and 4kHDR play without a problem, It's only the Harry Potter 4kHDR which have now become unwatchable through pixilated pictures and freezing.

I loved this set
This ONLY refers to the 8 disc UK 4KUHD set of the films. All of these films are much improved over any previous version that I've seen, including bluray and 4k streaming. NOTE: in reading the UK Amazon description, you may think that regular blu-ray discs are included in this set along with the UK 4K UHD discs. That is incorrect. This UK 4K UHD set contains only 8 discs -- the 4K UHD versions -- and no blu-rays. In addition the UK 4K UHD discs contain only the movies with no supplements or deleted scenes. That was actually a plus for me as buying this set meant that I was not duplicating other content that I already have on my existing blu-ray set of the films. I only wanted to upgrade the films to 4K UHD -- and this set does that without forcing me to rebuy blu-rays that I already own. The set is also considerably less expensive than sets in other countries that include regular blu-ray versions. I loved this set!

Didn’t blow me away like other 4K discs I have
I bought this as I have a few missing from the collection (blu-ray) and as I have a new 4K tv and player I thought it would be a nice buy. Now I have got, what I consider mid level kit (Samsung) and the other 4K discs I have blow me away with the detail. These... not so much, in fact I would say not much better than the blu-rays (Upscaled on the 4K player) that I already have.. Now I know that there are lots of people out there that are into all this stuff and will know what I need to do to make it better etc or tell me that my set up is Pooh, & like a potato with wires, but I just want to play it like the other discs I have, and it be awesome. So it maybe my set up/incompetence or the source the discs are compiled from. But if you have all the discs already I would hang fire or “test” first. To clarify, I got the 4K 8 disc set on pre-order. Looks like pre orders missed out on the bonus Documentary disc... pah!

Harry Potter revisited in 4K
Before buying these I read the reviews on the performance of the 4K version. If there was not much difference I would have saved the money and stuck with the standard blu-Ray. But these are great the soundtrack delivers a cinematic sound stage and the films have more detail and depth.

Physical Discs Won’t Play on PS4 Pro (4K UHD version box set)
I have placed this as a 5 star review although I can’t play the discs. I have a PS4 Pro and ordered the 4K UHD box set. they arrived today only for me to find out that these 4K UHD discs won’t play on PS4 Pro. My one fault, I should have investigated it further. However I do believe I can download the UV version of these movies using the code that comes with the box set, and watch them streamed or transferred on a USB stick. I’ll update this review with my findings. PS4 Pro users, just be aware that your console will not play the physical 4K UHS discs.
