It's stopped the mouse
It is a bit difficult to fix to an old house. No screws are provided and the screw holes are a bit small but once you've overcome how to fix it, it works!

Problem solved
I bought a whole load of these (16), used to cover the air bricks as I figured Mickey and his mates were using the air bricks as their way in during the winter searching for warmth and food (couldn't find any other possible routes)I actually used a strong hold exterior black silicone to the back edge as opposed to drilling and securing , it worked well, no slippage, 2 tubes did all 16.I already had poison down, a week later a little collection of dead mice all by the bait, so evidently I trapped them in (and if they are trapped in, others are kept out).... 3 months on NO MORE MICE...money well spent

It covered the hole in my airbrick and prevented the intrusion of pests!
The mesh was easy to attach with no more nails adhesive and prevented the intrusion of pests. Not very attractive to look at on the outside of my house.

Stopped the mice from getting in our air vent!
Ideal for stopping mice gaining access via the air duct looks good too

Replacement for existing mouse mesh
My neighbour had his pathway cleaned and sealed. An existing mouse mesh was damaged beyond repair, so I ordered another, knowing that it does the job perfectly.I have about 12 to 15 of these around my house and they very effectively stop mice or rats getting in.Over the past ten years, I've had to kill about 16 mice and 4 or 5 rats. I don't want to do this, but sonic devices and humane traps did not work and I don't want to poison them because it's a terrible death and the smell is not pleasant. The combination of maintaining a clean kitchen (depriving rats and mice of dependable food) and mouse mesh on every vent has prevented any more getting into my house.

Fitted with silicone
I fitted these with some silicone adhesive I already had, instead of drilling. It can be tough to line up holes on uneven brickwork, and hard to avoid going to mortar too.The black plastic lugs that fill the screw holes took some work to put in place. There's no evidence of anything trying to get through.
