An upgrade for an old laptop
Put some life back into an old Toshiba Satellite laptop. Gone from gb to 6gb for a Linux install on an ssd. Works OK with a Kingston 2gb and or the hell of it tried it with a Samsung 4gb module and worked fine also, so seems pretty compatible.

2x4Gb Kit of DDR3 1333mhz SODIMM is a Nice quality product, comes in a secure sealed clear plastic formed enclosure.The Memory runs in dual channel mode perfectly with initial slow boot due to the configuration for new hardware to be recognised, second boot is fast. The increased memory capacity enables programs to load noticeably faster and able to handle larger demanding applications with ease. Those with older devices contemplating or migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 this upgrade is a must.

Easy to install, brings life to an older laptop
Another Christmas with relatives, another computer to look at for a family member: is it possible to make this 12 year old laptop usable? Well, it has an Intel Core i3-380M processor with 3GB of RAM and 500GB mechanical disk, and has recently taken a Windows 10 upgrade. Moving from 3GB to 8GB and moving to a solid state disk has made the old laptop usable. It now cold boots in less than a minute and shuts down almost instantly. The machine is never going to break records, but it is perfectly usable for web and office apps.

Pasa el MemTest86+ 6.20
Para un ASUS K53SC en el que el fabricante dice que máximo dos ranuras de 4Gbs, yo he puesto dos de 8GBs (16GBs). Funcionan muy bien, cero errores en el MemTest86+ v6.20, en 54 minutos de test.El CPU-Z muestra que el circuito integrado es Timetec, y no Hynix como pone en el título, aunque realmente sea Hynix.
