this is the e.d.t. for the scotchman on the go the one that makes the statement,'ah mur scoatish, an' ah ferr nang the berries'! the thistle invokes the dark and proud heritage of ancient caledonia, the black pepper provides the warmth inherent in the nature of all true scotchmen (and scotchwomen!) it's proud and it bites! what those of other nationalities get from it is up for discussion, but why not try it and see what it does for your independence?my preferrence is usually for e.d.p., previously a user of the original 'gucci pour homme' (that they dinnae mak nae mair), and currently an appreciator of viktor & rolf's 'spicebomb extreme' (that they dae mak bit it's no chape), so as a supplement to go alongside the latter, this is perfect for times you feel like a wee change, but like to maintain a rich spicy aroma. my wife says there's a definite note of gucci within the scent, and no, unfortunately it's not as long lasting as an e.d.p., but for me it's an equally pleasing alternative, especially considering the low price asked.gie yursel' a wee praisent, 'n' get skooshin'!

Great unique scent

This is a stunning aftershave with a great scent that lasts a reasonable time. Why is one star missing because it is a Scottish company and yet I cannot get it delivered to the Isle of Bute, just off the West Coast of Scotland. Had to get it delivererd to a Hotel in Glasgow when I was due to stay there the night before my chemo. Thistle and Black Pepper is highly recommended. Blind buy it, I don't think you will be disappointed, especially at this price. I would have it on my subscribe and save list to get it at an amazing £13 but due to the deliver issue, I can't. Love this aftershave. My wife found it first when we took a trip to the Roman Spa in Bath. She said it smells like D&G, so I thought I'll try it. I love the fact that it's made here in the UK and love the price. I often get compliments on how nice it smells and love that it costs roughly half the price of D&G. I now have it on subscribe & save as I like it so much 👍😄

Quite a nice blend of scents, the pepper comes through well but it's also a subtle fragrance that's not overbearing. An everyday scent rather than one for a night out.

This scent is just perfect.I'm not one for spending daft money on aftershave but at the same time, I want a nice scent which last. Until now, I didn't think I could have one without the other, however with this it's win win.The scent is subtle, manly and best of all, last most of the day. Highly recommended.
