Addicted.......
Brilliant, how so few grains can ferent so much milk over the months, and keep growing all the time (yes, I eat the extras). I love the cold, sharp taste, straight from the fridge, it's intense but wakes you up nicely. I've tried to spread the word, been successful with some relating to the health benefits, but also come across the usual..."yeurrggh!, I couldn't drink that, it tastes sour"........ yep, well, if your whole health mechanism is ruled by the working of a small meaty flap in your gob, then so be it.......enjoy your cake and sugar, and as all the food you eat is meant to be fuel for your body and all it's systems like brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, blood, lymph, skin, bones, sight, etc....what piece of Black Forest Gateau will fuel those.

For good quality avoid cheap sellers!
Tiny amount, never had a successful ferment had to bin it in the end, I think I chose the wrong seller as it was very cheap and seemed low quality not like the other reviews - who knows!

Great results
Very pleased. Within 24 hours got a pint of Kefir and third batch brewing now. We are fortunate to have an Aga which puts out heat 24/7. So putting the jar near it keeps it warm. I think temperature is important for regulating how long the Kefir takes to make. The cooler it is the longer it takes. The Aga costs a couple of quid a day to run, so getting it to help with Kefir goes some way towards helping the cost. Our Kefir separated slightly, so poured off clear liquid. Then sieved it to get the grains back. The end result was very tasty. Grains go into fresh milk and off it goes again. Obviously the grains will grow over time, so you'll have some to give away eventually. I appreciate it that this seller isn't trying to rip people off, very fair price.

I read many good reviews for Mia's Organic Cultures and that is what ...
Carried out a lot of research before I purchased my Live Organic RAW MILK KEFIR Grains - Grass-Fed Cow's MILK Kefir Grains Organically Grown By Mia's Organic Cultures. I read many good reviews for Mia's Organic Cultures and that is what helped me to decide to purchase these particular kefir grains. I couldn't be happier. They are a very high quality of kefir grain. I have achieved excellent results with fermenting milk kefir using raw milk and on the odd occasion pasteurised milk too. I was a little nervous at first fermenting my own kefir and had a few questions which Mia's Organics were super quick in responding to. I received re assurance with their answers. My kefir grains are growing healthily. I have shared excess grains with friends and family who are all enjoying the benefits of this ancient forgotten super food. Look no further than Mia's Organic Cultures for Kefir Grains. You will not be disappointed.

Very good product
On the surface these grains appear expensive, but when you think of how many small bottles of commercial/supermarket kefir you could buy for the same money; not many, and as the grains grow really well it’s not long before you get that money back and then you have only the expense of whichever medium you use and the convenience of having kefir always on hand. I’m delighted with mine, which have tripled in as many days.

Disappointing
For the price was very disappointed with the size & quantity of the kefir grains. Bag contained mostly liquid with very few grains-which were mostly pin head sized .

Very slow to grow in size and number
I've been making kefir for a number of years, but I have never bought from this seller before, and unfortunately, I don't think I shall again. As other have mentioned, The quantity supplied is very small, but that didn't overly concern me as my previous experience has led me to believe that they would both grow in size and multiply in number quite quickly. These kefir grains have not behaved as others have, and in six months, I would be surprised if they have doubled in number and in size. So whereas previously I would be reaching the point where I could give some away I'm now going to have to buy some more for myself. It could be that I was just unlucky and sold a bad batch but I'm not going to take the risk so I shall buy elsewhere.
