Used on my router on my narrow boat. It saves having the inverter on.

I bought this to power a Manhattan Freesat Box in my motorhome directly from the 12v system. I wanted one with a voltage stabiliser and this ticked all the boxes. It works perfectly and means that I don't have to have mains electric to use the Freesat Box as I can plug it into a cigarette lightet type socket along with the TV.

I bought this for my Wifi modem router as I was warned connecting directly to a battery could ruin the electronics. This does as it states and gives out a constant 12V supply. When away in my campervan I can ditch the dedicated Mains adaptor and use this as it will only give out 12V instead of a varying voltage from the leisure battery which can vary up to14.5V. Luckily the output adaptor was the same as on my mains adaptor so no issue with connection.

I bought this because my Maglite ML150 charging cradle kept going into an error state when powered directly from the cars 12v outlet. Guessing the alternator voltage is too high for it, or it can’t deal with fluctuations.Using this regulated supply the charger gets a rock solid stable 12v and I have not had a single problem since.

SHARP 12V TV would work for 30 mins when using motorhome 12v battery.With this device the TV operates for min 6 hours probably for much longer.
