Buster ActivityMat Starter Set with 3 Tasks

*Note*This comes with rat trap, rock n roll and the basic level 1 wallet/purse task rather than those shown in the photograph. Bear that in mind if you're ordering extra tasks at the same time!*******I was hesitant about purchasing this initially as I was concerned it might be a gimmick or that my dog wouldn't get it or just not be interested. But I was running out of mentally stimulating games to play with her, so I finally caved and bought this. I'm so glad I did and I should have done it earlier!My small dog loves it. She learnt the first 3 tasks that arrived with the mat within minutes, so I needn't have worried about them being too hard/boring for her. (She is used to a kong wobbler, rubber kongs and playing "find it" where I hide treats around the room that she has to sniff out, so she picked up what she was supposed to do with these tasks straight away). I immediately purchased four more tasks and a second mat. I intend to purchase all the remaining tasks when they come back in stock and build a more extended and challenging activity session! The person who invented this deserves an award! I hope they keep making new and varied tasks!

Ted LOVES this mat!! It’s been amazing during his recovery time post surgery after being neutered (hence the popper vest!) & is really well thought out. The mat comes with 3 activity tasks & a bag to keep it all in...you can also buy additional tasks sold separately. The beauty of it is by clipping different combinations on the mat each time in different positions it’s always interesting & I can’t see Ted getting bored of it. You just pop some dry treats in the different compartments & let them sniff away! Ted gets excited when the bag comes out & it keeps him fully occupied...It lovely watching him. It tires him out nicely & is a nice addition making him content...will be brilliant in winter when we have heavy rain & can’t get out for a walk as much as we would like too...would highly recommend!

My whippet loves this mat! It's very different to his other toys, including all the other ones that dispense food, so it means he has to think in a different way. He's happy whenever I get it out and gets stuck in straightaway to find his snacks!This isn't something you can just fill up and leave your dog with - my dog can empty it pretty quickly, even on the hardest 'levels', and the instructions recommend supervision and short play sessions. That said, you'll probably want to supervise because it looks like fun! The instructions that come with the play mat are great and explain how to use different levels of difficulty and encourage your dog.The mat and accessories are made from a thick, very robust fabric which would be hard for a dog to rip, and that withstand constant digging (and use of teeth!) very well. I wouldn't say the product is indestructible - a bored dog left with it all day might well have a good attempt at ripping it up - but if used properly under supervision, I anticipate this lasting a long time. The only component that I'm concerned about is the wooden stick for the envelope accessory, which is made of quite soft wood and seems to have become a chewing target. The whole kit comes in a handy carry bag.This has been such a success in our house that I'm about to get some different accessories for it to make it different every time!

The media could not be loaded.  Can't recommend this mat enough. We have two Boston Terriers, and at the moment we have it all going on!!One has a cruciate injury which requires rest (so limited exercise) and the other is seeing a behaviourist so we are trying to keep her stress level low. This has kept them entertained and is fabulous for canine enrichment. May need to replace some bits and when I first introduced it one of them got a bit excited and ripped one activities. Although it doesn't say you can, I washed the attachments in the washer (low) and they where fine. It also states one dog at a time, but mine worked well together (Probs because they are a smaller breed and get on). Only a small amount of high value treats required, which is good whilst they are one reduced exercise.

I had no idea these mats existed. After buying the starter kit and using for my pups lunchtimes; He watched me as i set it up and made his food vanish before his eyes and then stood back before i 'let the games commence'.He quickly went from suspicion, to curiousity, to intrigued, to pig noises... yup pig noises.This product is great, every time the mat comes out of the included bag (which is an adorable looking gymbag) he jumps for joy and then sprints to the usual set up location.You have the freedom to lay it out different every time so it's "same same, different, but still same same".I will definitely be buying the other add ons over time but gradually as the are costly but worth it.Materials are not indestructable but they are very strong/durable and will last my dog a whole lot longer than other more expensive so called 'durable toys'.

I bought this for my dog who had to rest for six weeks due to an tendon injury and wasn't able to walk long or run. To keep her mentally stimulated I bought this and it is a very useful toy to keep your dog thinking and active without the walking... The mat comes in a sturdy bag (looks a bit like a small tent) then unrolls and you can add the various activities where you want by using the press studs provided on the mat and on the add-ons. You then have to hide treats in each of the parts on the mat and encourage your dog to find them. This can take a while as some treats may be quite hidden within the mat. However, once the dog knows that there are treats, she will go for it and even try digging,,,,,Excellent product, worth the money.
