Hi. I think she may find them difficult. Gears are lovely. I work at Breakfast Club and After School Club so see a lot of children play with them. When they are new especially, they are very stiff. Our younger children (4 year olds) often bring them to an adult to take apart and I find them quite difficult at times. Children also need fairly good motor skills to line up the pieces to click them in place because the gears interlock so they can move. I think your daughter may find them difficult and frustrating at present. The children I work with are primary school age and, mostly have appropriately developed motor skills. They absolutely love the Gears and I think they are an excellent play and learning toy, well constructed, heavy duty (we have tested that one!!) colourful and creative. I'd say they were more for primary aged children than preschool though (I've 30 years experience with 0-11 yr olds) Have you looked at Magformers? They are magnetic, colourful and fun on 2D or 3D construction. Our children enjoy them and you can get various packs including neon ones. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Q: How many turning handles does this have in one set?

It says on the side of the tub that there is one, but I found two in our tub
