Steel Dapping Doming Block - for Jewelry Making - Metal Forming Tool - Shaping Die

LOVE this! Was perfect for jewelry and other small project where you need to make a bowl shaped item. (We used this to make a bowl shaped cup to repair an antique sewing bird that needed the larger pin cushion replaced.) Worked perfect - did it with brass and then bought the brass black on here. It came out looking perfect! Very pleased and this will come in handy in the future too.

This is a well-made product that I learned was virtually useless without dapping dies (needed to complete the process of turning flat metal disks into concave shapes).Consider buying the dies at the same time OR buy a complete set of dies and blocks.

As a casual hobbyist it's more than I need but worth the price. Yes it's great for forming curved metal sheet models. This functional and beautifully crafted block could be on display in itself. It's not often you find items of such craftsmanship and design.

Pretty good, but keep away from water or moisture because it will rust.

Works wonderfully. Would definitely recommend. I use this for hand sculpting brass jewelry with no heat.
