Servos are too weak for original hinge, cut and use tape for hinge. Otherwise servos are going to burn out. Otherwise great very small plane, awesome for small area. great for 3D learning

I was a bit skeptical of this kit before it even arrived but I can say from some who has been in the rc hobby since I could hold a transmitter, this is a decent little kit. Yes the kit is not easy to build yes the instructions are pretty sparse yes it is hard to find a micro receiver as small as the one shown. But if you’re not flying a new radio link you need to upgrade because there are plenty of tx companies with tiny revivers. All the plugs are micro molex or whatever in the rc hobby you neee to know how to solder. Solder servo plugs. Or do what I did to save weight and just use pins. Idk all in all I’m glad I was able to pick up this kit for the price it got me back in the air again with a plane. I am very rusty when it comes to planes so I did end up smashing it up but 30 something bucks gets you a new airframe on a rc plane site. I’m a fpv pilot for years now this a great little toy to re learn 3d flight. I will try to post a video of it flying when the weather is nice.

The kit was pretty easy to build, that is when the problem started; the servos and speed controller use 100mm jst micro plugs, every micro reciever uses 150mm jst micro plugs. There are no adapters. I had to micro solder adapter cables, total pain in the butt, still not done, absolutely would not recommend.

the control rods didn't fit into the control horns, they had to be drilled out; the small size makes this tricky. It seems small, but its a kit, these things should fit. All the parts use tiny connectors that no one makes receivers for, they (DW) sell them, but they don't ship to USA; this also means you can't buy replacement parts easily if you break something. I had to cut the connectors off, and solder them to receiver I got that came without the pins soldered on. Be careful with the servos, one of mine broke while I was centering it; it could have been bad and broke quickly, I wasn't using excessive force. I opened up the servo, it had lost a tooth, and the gear-train wouldn't engage. It is really hard to find a battery for this model, I had to make my own packs from cells, as I can't find a better option. Amazon had a recommended 300 mAh battery advertised as bought with this product, but it is way too heavy for the plane. Even with the 10 gram battery with all the recomended parts, it still won't fly, maybe i used too much glue?

Love this rc airplane, the kit was well made, no problems and built it in several hours. I was flying it the next day. Get one!
