Classic Halston. Very masculine scent

I'd never heard of this aftershave until recently by a work colleague. I have absolutely no idea why we was talking about aftershave but he said this was a classic that's not so easy to find now. So I had a look and figured, for the price, it was worth trying. IT IS AMAZING! It smells really strong when you first spray it, like aniseed, but don't be put off. After a few minutes it mellows down and it smells bloody lovely. I guess you could say, it smells like freshly toasted hot cross buns. Sweet and warming and not intrusive whatsoever. I'm happy wearing this scent.

The product was as described and very please , if delivery took a little longer than expected but I put that down to Royal Mail. Thank you

Just fab. Formulation doesn't seem to have changed over time (unlike lots of other perfumes, that swap to cheaper ingredients). And amazing value.

Lovely smell and lasts all day

Quite a nice strong smell that lasts a while.

Woody, spicy, with a lemony, slightly tropical patachoulli middle note. Dries down to a dry lemony peppery wood-bark. Very radiant for the first hour, with considerable projection. Good to wear on a dull day, it is bracing and quite sharp but with some depth to it. Very masculine but surprisingly "unstuffy" for an old-school perfume. In the last month I have developed a real affection for this fragrance and am wearing it regularly. A good day fragrance for me, I like its structure and masculine woodiness.

Used to wear this in the 80s. Saw it heavily discounted on Amazon n thought would treat self. Had first spray n thought 😳 wow, way too 🍋 lemon. However, this dicipated after a few seconds to be replaced by that old familiar aroma. Beautiful, masculine, unique, sensual, fab, hep n ever so groovy. Highly recommend. Very Studio 54. Useful Information: This fragrance reminds me of after shaves from the 1970s as it has a soapy smell at first. Quite a regular thing for the time. If I smelled this in a department store I wouldn’t have bought it. I’m glad I did though. Give it a chance on your skin and it mellows. Overall: I like this fragrance and would buy again.
