Perfect sice, grip and weight. Haven't had to hit anybody with it yet, so I'll get back to you on that.

I bought this for tire thumping - a low tire sounds different - and I was told that you can hear if the tire layers are seperating inside the tire. Don't know about that, not having a defective tire to test it on. Very sturdy for that purpose and heavy enough to give the tire a good thump.. What this is really great for is knocking packed in snow out of your wheel wells. Good long reach, plastic so it won't scratch the paint, and the grip works well even when wet. You could use this as a weapon, so I printed out some tire thumping instructions and wrapped them around it with a rubber band, just in case some cop questions what the tool is for (you could do more dames with a tire iron, and they never question those).

Very solid and well made for plastic, great price, feels good in the hand, good weight ratio, for self defense in a bad situation, this will work well for non-lethal. I am very impressed.

It's supposedly for a tire thumping but this thing has came in very very handy for protection. Great self-defense tool and if you live in california, it's a great tool in defense against the homeless population that are on drugs and act crazy. I've been surrounded by a few people and once this comes out, their energy changes. I highly recommend buying it. Once you get it in your hand, you'll know what I mean. Crazy drug, homeless thumper.

A classic synthetic material/ heavy plastic “Billy club.” The handle is a bit on the wide diameter side, especially as it is pretty slick so I felt like if it was ever so slightly less big around, I would have a much more secure hold on the grip. I wrapped the grip with self fusing silicone tape, which solved the slipperiness issue, and looks pretty dope, but slightly exacerbated the oversized issue… still a net positive, in my book, as it feels much more secure in my hand, however people who have below average size hands, or even average sized hands, might worry that it could be wrenched from there grip, or even slip out when they strike something strongly. If this was a wooden thumper, the handle could be filed/sanded, or shaved down, to a perfect size for the individual user… I understand that they have to choose a size that they think will fit anybody who uses it, but it would be very easy to wrap a few layers of grippy silicone tape, handlebar wrap, etc… around the handle, making it wider, if a person’s it on the small side. The option of reducing the diameter is not really feasible in this case though.

Call it what you will, this is a nice baton. I got it as a bedside self defense item. As a baton it could fit more inconspicuously in smaller spaces. As baton’s are sometimes an illegal concealed weapon, just buy responsibly and to be kept in a legal manner. I have no doubt it’s a great tire thumper. I think it would be very effective thumping whatever needs thumping. Have tought about buying one for each of my adult kids to keep bedside as a self defense item.

Well made and sturdy. Fits under truck seat for easy access. A great attitude adjuster.

Don't let the fact that it is plastic fool you. It's pretty solid and heavy and as effective as a wooden baton. I have it strapped to the stem of my e-scooter to check the tyres. Yea, that's what I use it for, I swear. Heh. It's a great product, exactly as advertised. Good in emergency situations life if you have to break a window or something else.

Nice thing to keep in your car should you have to 'check you tires' ya never know when you might need it to.. keep you safe ;) Very sturdy, tough, good grip, quality.

This is perfect for walking at night in coyote territory. Makes one feel safe. Not heavy, easy to carry.

This tire thumper is solid. When I first took it out of the box I was surprised by its appearance but that soon changed. This will definately be effective should you have to “ check “ your tires or … anything else. 👍👍
