Aunt Lydia Coats Cotton Classic Crochet Coats White Size 10

Used this thread many times before having bought it in the US when on holiday there. I only wish I could buy it in the UK as I had to wait for it to come from the US. It's excellent for many projects especially for the christening dress I am currently making.

I like this size better than the jumbo which is too starchy and stiff. This is nice to crochet with to make my personalized name filet crochet doilies

Hoped it would be the same weight as perle cotton 8 but it's thicker than that. I should have done more research. Nice to dye and couch but too thick to embroider with for me.

I bought this to try with punch needle embroidery. Those threads tend to be expensive for a small amount. Lydias crochet thread (white) works beautifully and the price us right. I liked it so much, I purchased the black as well. I use alot of those colors. I havent tried crocheting with it yet so I cant comment on that. Recommended

I have purchased this thread 4 times within the past month and the first three were great. The yarn is smooth and works easily. This fourth skien is more of a cream color and not a cool white like the other three. Yes I did make sure the label was the same on all four. I will be returning it as there is anough of a difference that it will make my project look off.
