Fire brigade drop key with lift access attachment

The main entrance to my block of flats needs a key but every now and then it kept having a beeping alarm and being unlocked for anyone to walk in. I could see a hole with fire brigade key above the entry panel so I looked it up and found this item.Someone across the road had a fire engine visit 3 days in a row, I caught them on one day and asked about the key and they said they new nothing about it, I noticed the police arrive to my block and when they left the main door alarm was beeping. Someone in the block was having a problem and they had called them on a few occations and sometimes the alarm was left on driving the people in the flats near the entrace mad after a few weeks.So thank you police for leaving our main door unlocked and unsecure allowing a burglary in which a neighbour had their door smashed in, and disturbing the peace with an alram 24/7 for a few weeks,Next time they did it I used this key and turned the alarm off and the main door locked again. At least it stops kids coming in who don't live here as the hole is high up and the alarm notifies us when it is used but at least I can switch it off now.

Looks and feels nicely made. Worked well but it hasn’t had extensive use in the line of duty. Won’t work for all lift access due to differing keyhole sizes and shapes

Sadly snapped after using it once.... had to take the firemans lock apart to retreive broken key, Nightmare!!So after i snapped the first one I realised that I had turned it to much in the lock and snapped it myself 🙄 you only need a slight turn to release the door. I didnt know this at the time 🤦‍♂️ so re rate this item as a good tool for opening the doors via the fire lock 😁

It’s a lift key. Dispatched and arrived promptly. So far not broken as other cheap one have.

As an operational Firefighter, This handy tool has been used several times to assist in lift rescues,Good strong quality, easy to use and small enough to keep in pocket. Would definitely recommend this Product.
