Valken Tactical Magazine - Valken Tracer Flashmag M4-300RD-Blk, Black

This truly is a piece of garbage, as noted by other reviewers.I purchased 2, thinking "9.99, how bad can it be?" If I could give it negative stars, I would.Valken shipped the 2 mags very fast. These state they hold 300 rounds and are "high capacity". Well, first, in order to open the unit to load the batteries you have to unscrew the hand crank and the bottom plate. Why would they put two different types of fasteners on here? There's a phillips for the crank and a penta for the bottom. Forget about doing this in the field- not only are the screws super small, but the led unit and its screw are even tinier.Once you get the unit open you have a super tiny battery holder that contains an led. Fine. However, the circuit that lights up the led is just it's lead. and it is so fragile that upon putting the thing back together the led stayed on. It took microsurgery to slightly move the led leg away from the battery contact. However, just laying the magazine down is enough to make it go on. My other mag did not require surgery but it too will turn on if you breath on it or look at wrong.I'm glad I loaded this up the day before going to the field, because there's no way you could prep this on the field.Just contacted Amazon and the manufacturer as I'm within 30 days. I wouldn't bother with this if it was 5.00.Stay away! Get a real tracer unit.

This item required a lot of assembly with terrible instructions. It took my family over three hours to get the light to sit correctly in the magazine and then when I went to shoot my gun the light was always on and the tracer bbs didn't light up at all and couldn't be seen. The door to the bb container also turned on the light and it would get stuck open. The tracer part is a waste of money, I'm in the process of returning it now. I thought I would try it even with a one star rating, but it's not worth it. I've tried it with two different guns and I thought when I got a new gun it would work but still no luck and the bbq can't be seen at all.

Would not buy this again. The led that's suppose to light the bbs is really dim. Didn't last me a full 10 min game before dying off. Just bad all around. It did fit in my gun but other than that, just no.

Terrible mag. Keeps misfiring and a pain to put together
