Bought this to replace one just like it and was happy to find the same kind. Are you here because yours has mysteriously stopped working? Check to see if the mute button is stuck down. That's what happened to us, and this was ordered before my husband figured out the button was stuck slightly under the casing - not obvious to see. Freeing it up fixed the problem and now we have two volume controllers which is handy anyway. The one we had before has taken hard use over the years and held up really well.

This control is incredibly wonderful, it works perfectly on my LG sound bar (works just like the original). I was really surprised by the quality of this, and best of all is that it is very cheap.
