Nice thick and strong tape. Used it to repair an old childhood book and it seems to have worked well. Tape is totally clear and is quite thick, good adhesion too. A big expensive but so long as it holds & doesn’t yellow I’d suggest worth it for peace of mind in keeping your book in good condition.

Very strong tape that makes an excellent job of it's intended use. I've used it to repair the spine of a heavy, well used book (large hardcover) and it shows no sign of failing. Maybe a little expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Although this tape is quite expensive, it's really worth getting if you have precious books to repair. I used it to fix my Grandson's battered Mog book that had taken a trip down the stairs. It's not up to Chris Shaw's standards from the repair shop, but the book is now usable and will last for a good few years more.

I bought this to repair the spine of a 50mm thick book and so needed the extra for overlap. It is quite easy to use and there are instructions on how to use it on a book spine, included on the box.The recommendation is to cut the required length and lay it sticky side up on a flat surface and to then lower the spine of the book onto it This worked fine, but the tape has a small static charge, which makes it lift as the spine gets close, so allow a few millimetres extra and use some ordinary sticky tape (the book tape is too expensive to waste on that job) to stick the ends of the tape down to the work surface, while centring and lowering the book onto the tape. The tape seems strong, but time will tell whether the repair will last.

I repair choir books and music for local church. Previous repairs used regular tape that turns brown and falls off after a few years. This should be "archival" quality. This tape is very transparent, lighweight but strong. Wider than expected, which is good for hymn books.

I've marked this down because it's no good for what I wanted - far too thick. But I guess if you wanted to secure a book's cover without being fussed about how it looks (maybe an old textbook or beloved paperback that's falling apart) then it might do the job.

Aber auch das ein oder andere Taschbuch von mir wurde wieder repariert und aufgewertet. Das Klebeband lässt sich gut aufbringen und ist hoch transparent, aufgeklebt fast unsichtbar. Im Gegensatz zu normalen Klebefilm bricht es auch nicht (bis jetzt) wenn es hin- und her gebogen wird. Ich bin bislang sehr zufrieden.

Firsat ürün iken 317 liraya aldım. Kizimin kalın karton kitaplarını tamir etmek için aldim. Normal seffaf koli bandiw gibi değil daha kalın. Simdilik bir sorun yok Türkiye’de makul fiyatta başka kitap onarım bandi bulamadım en uygun ve çabuk erisim buydu.
