Beyond the fit problems they do work.
Measured my fingers, as advised, bought the size recommended, but they were a little large and move a bit, with the exception of the slightly smaller one that comes in the pack, which fits nicely. If I buy more I would buy a size down. But my measurement was exactly on the cross over from one size to another (ie just above "Small" and the smallest for "Medium") so that could be why. Also they are just that little bit too long, so when I bend my finger (as it's a fairly loose fit anyway) it pops up a little, making it somewhat flappy at the tip. There are no instructions on what to do in this case. I'm going to trim them a little and hope it doesn't impair their integrity (ie they don't tear). I think I may eat a lot of cream cakes and see if I can make my fingers fatter to improve the fit, I know it's a bit extreme, but a girl has to suffer for her art, but not so much that she gets sore fingers. Beyond the fit problems, they do work. I was expecting the strings to make a slight plonk sound rather than ring, as they usually do, but they sounded no different, which was pleasing. For the one finger that fits perfectly I find it very useful and saves me a lot of pain, which means I can practice for much longer. I am still a very poor player, but at least I can keep trying to improve without having to stop because of the discomfort. Now it's all down to my incompetence.

Beginner - pretty happy so far just started using them - look up what size you need online first
I am a beginner learning on a Yamaha metal stringed guitar that I love the tone of but the high string really cuts into my finger and was making it impossible to practice. I tried another type first that was useless (had a hole at the point you need protection). These ones seem ideal - they have a substantial pad on the finger tip (not finger pad) and then very thin elsewhere which is really what you need. You need to make sure you buy the correct size for your fingers - search gorilla tips sizing chart online to measure what size you need. Only deducting one start because they seem like the may tear with pulling on and off and because i suspect I will need to give them up to get to more advanced stages of practice - eg doubt you could slide in them because too grippy

Not very durable
I bought these as I'm learning to play the ukulele. I thought I'd got the sizing right but it's not that easy. Probably best to order smaller size than you think you need, otherwise it makes the instrument very difficult to play. Despite being large, so not overstretching them, they soon tore. Not really worth the money. Best to persevere without until your fingertips have hardened enough.

Good and Bad depending on you
These are thin rubber finger tips with slightly thicker tips. They do what they say. I bought medium and then smal size. They sits securely on your fingers , reduce or almost eliminate any pain. They biggest down side is the elimination of the sensation of your fingers for the strings. This made me using them only for my index finger which I had most pain in. Long and middle fingers can be used but felt uncomfortable, little finger forget it , it is too weak finger and when you put these on it you can't send the string well and end up searching for the string by your finger. After 3-4 weeks I stopped using them even for my index finger as the finger tip got less painful.I recommend them , use the smal size cox they will get bigger with time unless you have big fingers

Good product.
It was a good product. But personally it didn't stay durable for long.

No more sore fingertips.
These are ideal for getting you over that hump when you just want to put your guitar down as your fingertips are in agony. The only downside is the slightly reduced feel and response from the strings, however well worth using just so you can continue practicing.Very good product and they are even washable and come in a sturdy clear box for safekeeping.I would recommend these if you, like me have given up practicing for extended periods only for the pain to start all over again.

I thought they would help, but found them useless. You cannot slide on chords at all and the extra protection is not worth it.Definitely the best product out there, but just as useless IMO.
