Brilliant awning at a great price. It was certainly very easy to fit, requiring a hammer drill and a 14mm masonry bit. Once up it helps keep my kitchen cool by providing essential shade on the south facing side of the house. Overall I am very happy, it's easy to operate and feel strong sturdy and secure

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the frame, mechanism and operation. As noted by several other reviewers the fixing bolts are just not up to the job and strongly recommend not even trying them but buying some superior rawl bolts. Went up quite easily (job for two) but essential to get the fixings really level. Had a small panic when first opened it out to find it was quite lop-sided getting worse the further out. I thought the angles came pre-set, but the problem was resolved by adjusting one side at a time until level when fully open. This was a bit fiddly and took a few attempts as you can't tell until extended but have to make the adjustment and tighten up when collapsed before extending, but once done and locked tight it was fine. Only had it up a few weeks so will see how it fairs in the weather, but can now BBQ in the rain !.

This awning is of a very good quality for the price. The fabric is strong, the brackets and arms are all very sturdy, and the fixings of a good quality. It takes some time to measure, drill holes and put it up, and you definitely need two people and two ladders. A 14mm masonry drill bit is required. The awning can be angled once it's up, but minimally. I think it could be angled a little further, but the structure does not allow for this. It has changed the look of our patio, in a positive sense, dramatically and when the sun is hot and strong, creates a perceivably cooler temperature in the affected room. The grey awning looks good against red brick, is not too dark(which would absorb heat) , and not too light(which would soil easily). All in all we're very happy with it.

Good quality product that was easy to install. The only issue was you do need someone with you to help mark it out and get the actual awning up once you have secured the brackets. However, it is easy to install and so far has been great to use. Feels and looks sturdy and great value

We love this canopy. Made such a difference to our decking area. Great quality, easy to put up, although we bought stronger fixings than the ones supplied, which didn’t seem substantial enough. We also added some poles to the ends so we can have it out even in strong winds. We just got some cheap metal poles from b&q and attached some spring clips to either end (secured with a screw to hold in place) and then screwed in decking hooks either end to fasten them to. They work a treat and cost pennies!

It was easy enough to install the instructions were not that clear but we managed, our first one was damaged so returned it and had a replacement this arrived and was perfect, as it's winter we fitted it and took it down straight away and have stored it for use in the summer but it did look very good when fitted and I'm sure it will do the job of shading us, can't comment on quality as only time will tell when we get to use it.
