Fun for all ages
This game is super fun! My kids (ages 8 and 5) can play it together, with modified rules. (We are big on games with "house rules" in our family.) my 8 year old has even modified the rules to be able to play on his own, too. There are actually a lot of ways you can use these cards to play! The directions for the main game is fairly simple, but there are some smaller gameplay rules that we found confusing. So honestly, we ignored them. No biggie! Overall, it's a good way to practice mental math, and get the kids practicing math without the "kill and drill" homework. My son loves math, but my daughter is more reluctant, and both are fans of this game! At $10 at time of review, it's priced right, and would actually make a good "end of the school year" present or Easter basket addition!

Fun mental math game!
Binca Fletter Crunch is fun fast paced game for ages 8+ to work on mental math skills. This could be played with younger ages, however, I found that younger ages became frustrated quickly and didn't like others "stealing their cookies" while they were trying to quickly figure out equations. As the adult setting up the game, I recommend going through the instructions several times and trying to play a couple of rounds on your own first, before introducing this to children. Once play starts, i found my students picked it up quickly. This is definitely a game that is better with 4 people playing. 2 players is good for learning the game, but the more players the more cards and the more chances for fast paced math!

Wow!! Simple, but challenges your brain too just because you want to be quick! Fun
Wow, this game is fun, but also take a toll on your brain - in a good way! Its basic and easy-ish math, so any kid old enough to know how to add and subtract pretty quickly (or if not quickly, than just at the same level of whomever he/she is playing with) can play! My husband and I played and by the end of one round, my brain was satisfied not to play another. But I totally had fun doing it!! This would be an amazing game to keep good brain function and maybe even speed up synapses!! I could see playing this alone, just as a brain game, and then I could probably play it 3 times before I encountered brain fatigue. And Im talking the good type!! This would be awesome for middle schoolers, and I think they would really enjoy a few rounds! I do think its fairly important that you dont play with any outliers (people super great or super bad at this game) or it would not be fun for either the others playing with them, or for them (if they are super bad at it). You could level the field a bit for someone not as good at it by not having them have any cards.. they could just watch the played cards and therefore have more uninterupted concentration, and therefore more time to be mathing in their head.. I like this game! Back in high school when I was fast with math, I would have ADORED this game and it probably would have been one of my favorites! Right now its a fun brain challenge game with speed and I would welcome building up my brain endurance by doing this every other day..

Do not buy
This game was not fun or interesting. Very confusing directions but still made no sense and was just a waste of money.

Didn’t grab my kids interest.
Bought for family night for grandkids; simply did not grab their interest

Not for Gen Alpha!
Unfortunately, this game didn't hold the attention of my Gen Alpha kiddos. I thought it was great. Do math in your head and make it fun. Not with them. I liked the concept and the deck. It would have been a great family time game.

Great for an 8 year old
We are going through a stage with our eight-year-old, where if a game is educational she doesn't want to play it. For that reason, she insisted that she wouldn't like this, no matter what. So, I read the directions with her and then let her come up with a way to play it that she wanted. That tactic worked and now she asks to play it. So, whether you play this exactly as instructed, or change it up, it's a great game.

So fun!
Got this for my 8 year-old that loves math and math games and we were not disappointed. For some reason, when you start getting into 8+ games, they start to get so complicated you all have to sit around for 10 minutes trying to figure out the rules. We appreciated that this was pretty easy to get into, and that even if we didn't follow the rules, we could really make up any number of math-related or number-related games with the cards. We had a lot of fun and the price point (currently $10) is reasonable. Definitely recommend for the little math whiz in your life.
