Q: I diluted 1 cap full, with 5 litres of water in a clean plastic bottle. 3 weeks later it had turned to jelly in the bottle. Why is this?

There is glycerine in it to protect the rubber on your wiper blades. Maybe the 5ltr container wasn't as clean as you thought and it had traces of the previous screenwash.

Q: this is winter fluid or summer ?

I only bought this product this year but my understanding is that it is for summer. I have heard other people combine a cheap winter screen wash with this one.

Q: Does this contain methanol?

Methanol is not listed in the list of ingredients.

Q: I guess it doesn’t have Antifreeze in this?

You are correct. It’s a superb summer screenwash though. You can get a 5lt can of Sonax concentrated screenwash that contains antifreeze for winter use. I use it in the winter and it’s excellent.
