Q: i have a cat pooing under my decking so cannot get there to clean it, would this work if I sprayed through the planks to eradicate the odour?

I think it would work if there was just urine, it is manufactured for urine with no mention of poo at all. you could try contacting the manufacturer and ask. it sounds to me like you will have to cat proof the decking and the get rid of the poo probably manually and then spray with a deodorant. Failing that there are products on the market that are meant to repel cats so I would try that first and go from there. Sorry not to have been more help

Q: Can this be used on grass?

I have only used it inside on carpets & furniture and it is the best product I have found on the market. As you use in in a spray - diluted, you could try. It is animal friendly but like with any product I keep my dogs away from the sprayed area until dry.

This has to be reapplied every day? This means it’s masking the smell - not destroying the proteins in the pee. Get 3% hydrogen peroxide and spray it directly onto urine and see what happens. It will literally destroy the urine. Do a patch test in inconspicuous spot first.
