Can the GPLR41 batteries be used safely in thermometers?

Like others I have only used these in watches and currency converters. If it is a digital thermometer I would think they should be OK but I would refer to the instructions with the thermometer as they will state the correct battery and where to obtain it.

Hi my existing battery is lr41h 1.5v these don't have the letter h so would they still be compatible

If they are of the same voltage and if they fit into your machine, then it would be fine
