I’ve been using the Shimano J05A RF Disc Brake Pads on my mountain bike for about 6 months now, and I’m genuinely impressed. These are perfect for anyone looking for reliable braking with excellent heat management. Here’s what stands out: Quiet and Smooth Braking The resin compound makes these pads incredibly quiet, even during sudden stops or longer descents. Compared to metallic pads, there’s much less squealing, and the braking feels smooth and controlled I suffered from squealing with the metal pads when the discs get wet. Cooling Fins Make a Real Difference The integrated cooling fins are a game-changer, especially on long rides or technical downhill sections. I noticed far less heat buildup, and the brakes didn’t fade even on intense trails. It’s clear Shimano’s Ice-Tech cooling technology works as advertised. This feature ensures that buyers can trust they are purchasing genuine Shimano components. Sadly the market is flooded with counterfeit products, I received a fake set of pads , from Amazon directly and not a 3rd party seller the are a quite a good fake out of all the fakes I have seen, authenticity sticker was attached to this product but it was fake , there was no 2nd layer with the QR Code. Products for the UK market should not actually have stickers they should be blank and they should not have a printed on box QR Code either. Bought from a marketplace seller. Pad material fell off metal backing plate during a ride meaning my brake failed with no warning.

Pas un bruit , efficace sur les freinages court et puissant, elles sont montées sur étrier deore m6000 mono piston a l arrière et couplées a un disque Shimano icetech en 180mm : pas de surfauffe on garde la même progressivité du freins quelques soient les circonstances, en tous cas jusqu'à présent mais on verra cette été au bike park si l'endurance et le toucher reste exemplaire. Si ce commentaire n'est pas modifié dans quelques mois, c'est qu'il n'y a rien a redire.

Ich habe diese Bremsen schon sehr lange in Gebrauch und ich habe damit die perfekte Wahl für mein Bike getroffen. Sie quietschen niemals und haben eine perfekte Bremswirkung.

Colocados en una oiz en la parte delantera con discos de 180. Buena mordiente y aguantan muy bien las frenadas fuertes. Colocados con discos ventilados. Los que me traía del origen se calentaban, deformaban y tenían un color como a quemado. Peso 100kg y después de 6 meses estoy encantado con la combinación.
