Feels very high quality out of the box and the lighting choices, adjustable base, and wifi connected app really give you good control over the lamp. The results have been wonderful for us, our plants are dog great, especially helpful during the long winter months in the Midwest. Only wish they sold replacement bulbs, hopefully that is available by the time we need one

You guys know how rare it is to pull something out of the box and instantly love it. But I fell in love with this lamp so fast, I've had it unboxed for about 30 minutes and already threw out the packaging. Let's talk about what I love about this grow lamp:* it is really nicely manufactured. It feels solid and the design is quite striking. It looks just like the pictures! It was super easy to assemble. It has a weird barrel connect that the LED "hood" screws into. I was dubious that this would make a good connection but you've just gotta believe!* The light is _not_ pink or cool blue. You can see some little pin points of blue and red lights around this rim but the light it casts on the plant is a nice I'd say Warm Daylight. Probably somewhere between 5000 and 6000 kelvin. They recommend about 4" between the top of the plant and the light. I've got it set about this distance and the top of the leaves clock in at about 1300 lux (no extra daylight). Pretty decent for a little guy!* I didn't realized that this lamp has a touch activated shade and a built in timer. I've seen this touch functionality before but LET ME TELL YOU WHY THIS IS SO COOL. Picture this, you've got a nice plant on this tabletop lamp next to your couch. But then it's the evening and you want to watch a movie. So you have to turn off the lamp, which disrupts the timing cycle and you're going to have to remember to turn it on again before dashing off to work. EXCEPT NOT. The timer cycle is set upon _plugging in the lamp_. If you touch the shade to turn off the light (or even just dim it!), you don't disrupt the timer. OMG, it sounds so small but it feels absolutely luxurious to tap the light on and off as I please. I have it next to my PC and now I can temporarily turn the lamp off when I'm gaming without a second thoughtI'll edit my review if I experience anything later that detracts this from being 5 stars. The only thing I'm wondering is what will happen when the LED burns out. I know it's a long ways down the road but it feels a little weird buying something I can't maintain. I did look at the manufacturers website and it seems like they sell replacement parts for other products. Maybe they have/will have replacement hoods for this unit as well?

Good light to keep my succulents alive during long gray days, but honestly not enough for the mesembs and other biggest sun-lovers -- I added some higher-lux lights after a bit. I think this one tops out around 500 per head. It's also pretty sturdy, but if all your plants are close together, it might get tippy, so be prepared to weight or shim it.

I have a somewhat dark house and I love plants! This light allows me to put plants on shelves or around the house and have light. It has an automatic time to turn on in the am and off at the pm. Easy to use and works well. Love having the light “feature” the plants as well!

I used these on two different petunias using the built in timer function. Both plants lost almost all of their green coloring, and began to die within two weeks.After placing the plants outside for actual sunlight, they began to get their color back and are slowly recovering.These do not work as plant lights. 0/10.

I bought this because I wanted a way to bring my outdoor herb garden indoors this winter, but with a lighting system that I could use elsewhere year round.I had 6 plants so I purchased 2 trio lights and then moved it all into the basement where there is ZERO natural outdoor light. I figured if it didn’t work, I’d use the lights to supplement what my succulents were receiving.To my surprise, not only were my plants still alive after 3 weeks of being moved, they had actually started producing new growth! (I had transplanted them and cut them down before moving them if you’re wondering at my shock and awe.)It has now been several months and they’re still alive! I also get to use them in cooking whenever I want, and I don’t waste time or money buying cut herbs at the grocers.Several reviews mentioned syncing/connecting problems, but I haven’t had any issues with this. My suggestion if you’re having these issues is definitely unplug it, wait a little, and then plug it back in to try again.I have my lights set on a 10 hour cycle that begins at my made up sunrise and ends at sunset. They slowly dim/raise about 30 mins at my set times. I also use the lights on full spectrum at 100%.My one complaint is that the “arms” of the trio only bend halfway and the base is too light to support certain positioning if you have a limited space. Having all arms forward, for example, can cause the trio to topple.Rating it more of a 4.5/5, but I’m giving it a 5 since it does exactly what I wanted it to do, which is give me herbs for cooking year round.I definitely recommend this product!

Seems durable, it’s attractive, I love it!!
