DHC Velvet Skin Coat

I have been looking tirelessly for a primer that actually prevents my shine, so many say they do but don't! It was on a limb that I bought this as I needed a new primer and this was reasonably priced. But OH MY GOD, for the first time ever, I used this and it genuinely looked like I wasn't wearing foundation! I thought that was a myth! I would definitely be recommending this around and re-purchasing until further notice! Absolutely fantastic!

I have used this product for a while now, and was very pleased to see it arrive on Amazon.Although it may seem a small tube for the price, a very little goes a long long way.Although it is described as a primer, I use it primarily as a line filler - the smooth matte finish it gives to the skin is an added bonus.No product is going to eliminate wrinkles, but this one does a good job of minimising them, and diffusing the light from them.

I first tried this after receiving a sample which I found left your skin really soft and flawless - great if you don't want to use foundation however, I found that it doesn't stay still if you do want to use foundation ie liquid or a stick foundation. I suspect it would be fine if you used a compact powdery foundation. I haven't tried this yet, so, at the moment I'm using it on its own with just a little blusher and highlight on the cheekbones and for day time it's perfect!!

This is the second time I’ve purchased this product and I love it. My skin feels silky smooth and is a perfect base for foundation.

This is the best skin primer i have ever come across. Bit expensive but well worth the result. Many friends have commented how good my make-up looks, all thanks to this product.

I don't really know what I expected of this. It's supposed to make your wrinkles look better I think, underneath your makeup. I am 54, and don't have that many wrinkles to be honest - probably what you would expect for someone of my age. I don't think that it makes that much difference. May be it would be better for ladies in their 30s, but you really have to look hard to spot any difference. It's quite expensive, so I don't think that I'll be buying it again. Lots of water, a good swim and sauna, make more difference I think.

Really makes facial skin prettier, flawless,velvet looking complexion. Just use very,very LITTLE.Too much and it can mess up foundation and everything you've put on after.

Product is very good but way over priced . Wish I would have shopped around , half the price on other sites
