My 6 year old Granddaughter that loves all things Barbie and styling hair is absolutely thrilled with this toy!! Not only was it a great purchase price wise but, it also entertained the older Granddaughters as well!!!

I was fortunate to grab this doll at an affordable price, as I notice its cost keeps going up & up & up. Bought one for my grand's bday, but her sister immediately lamented SHE wanted one, too! Waited for it to go on sale, then grabbed a 2nd one. Otherwise, this doll is so pricey now, don't think I'd get it at its present rate -- bought 2 months ago at what I feel was a reasonable price. My daughter loves dolls, rainbows, and hairstyles—this Barbie hits all the marks! The hair tool proved to be really fun and can create lots of fun styles; I like that it does NOT use batteries, so there isn’t as much worry about my daughter’s own long hair getting caught up during the styling process. It was fun to listen to my daughter’s “stylist talk” as she figured out different tricks to make her hairstyles stay (tip from my five-year-old: you can click the braid ends together instead of using the clips!), and the straight parts of her hair aren’t too terrible to untangle when hairstyles go awry. The doll itself has a hard plastic top and a rainbow skirt, so she doesn’t work as well with other Barbie clothes, which was a little disappointing for my daughter (thus the four stars instead of five). Overall a fun addition to my daughter’s Barbie world!
